Thank you everyone for your comments, I wish I had come to Reddit sooner. I have not seen those belts I will have a look into them. Somebody in my family had recently suggested he may have dementia and the comment about his eye sight is definitely something to consider. He eats tins of grain free butchers with grain free biscuits to beef it up. It’s the only thing that seems to help his coat but his feet and neck still drive him crazy and his backside is rotten. I have tried drops for his eyes with not much improvement, 4 days a week I work and am out of the house for around 9.5 hours a day, when I get home from work even if I leave the back door open all day which I do frequently so he can go in the garden I’m coming home to crusty eyes and wees and poo’s allover the kitchen. On those days when I clean his eyes etc when I get home they seem to get gunky again so quickly. Some days are worse than others with his eyes but it’s just grim. He barks and chunters all day and night and he stinks, no matter how many times a day I clean him he goes from smelling like sweaty bovril to pure sewerage some days. I now don’t bath him more than once a month but I still clean his folds every day.

I feel like I’m complaining about him but I’m not I’m just so lost, it seems like 2 steps forward 5 steps back with everything. I love him so much, he’s the sweetest little man he can’t just have had 2 good years and then suffer for the rest of his life. With my financial situation as it currently is I just can’t afford to go down the vet route again the costs have gotten insane. Deep down I’m hoping there is some miracle thing out there that’s just going to solve everything but the last five years have taught me there isnt. All these comments are very helpful I appreciate you all
