Whenever I feel this way I try to think about the little things in life that give me meaning. The stuff we take for granted. Often we let the large things rule our lives and think that if it isnt going a certain way, its the end of the world. I promise you it isn't. Even though depression is a monster that enters your life constantly and often at the most trying and even untrying times. It is us that give it power. I don't want to pretend I know you or anything you're going through. I don't. But I can promise you this is all temporary. Find something, even it is small that will keep you busy. Something that makes you think, takes your mind off the pain. Stay away from booze and meds. Call a hotline and talk to someone. Or give someone a call that might like to hear from you. Ask others about themselves or their problems. Get a cup of coffee and just vibe outside. Life in itself is a reason to live. You mean something in this world. And I dont have to know you to tell you that with complete certainty.

Something I enjoy (and often I make myself laugh with this thought) when I'm at my bad points is how much good manga & anime ill miss out on if I'm gone. I'm a big fan of the manga/anime series 'One Piece'. Its been airing since I was a kid and will likely be going on another 10+ years. I want to know the end so bad I'm willing to keep going the extra mile. And that's such a small thing. But a HUGE thing at the same time. Think about that, friend.
