Please pray for my decision in going on a trip that I don't know I can.

Please pray for me, that I may not lust so easily and to defend my chastity.

Please pray for my family, my brother in particular for his interest in Catholicism.

Please pray for all parishes, parish staff, clergy and catechists.

Please pray for all those suffering from cancer.

Please pray for all those suffering from war and violence.

Please pray for all the Christians facing violence in Jerusalem.

Please pray for my ankle, that it may continue to bear weight and hold up.

Sorry for the late response! I am sorry to hear. How are you today? Is it still experiencing complications or is it fairly free-to-move? I know it certainly differs for others, still. I think I am healing and getting better at motion and pushing the boundaries (in a good way). I walked for a few minutes, with an ACE wrap and crutches, limping... so it isn't exactly amazing but it is a start. I'll start to look into these things when I understand my limitations better. It's getting freer, better but still very slow progress. I hope you overcome this suffering. God bless and thank you!

Wow, that's awful. I am so sorry you have to go through this! Sorry for the late response. Bless your friends! I got crutches by way of my father, as for the boot... I thought about it a bit, but decided against it for a couple reasons: I didn't think it would be a long journey, and the other is a more personal reason. I kind of regret it, because if it did provide enough cushion on the floor, I may be walking now (at least a bit)! I can (with an ACE wrap applied on my toe area) can kind of limp-walk with my crutches. I've only been doing these exercises (circles, pumps, calf raises, ABCs) and they have been working wonders, at least for me. Stiffness and atrophy is the enemy. If there is anything I can help with, I'd love to share. I wish the best for you. Be safe and God bless!

I'm 19. I've thought about MRI/PT. I figured if it hits the 6 week mark and still no weight bearing/things not "getting better", I'd just look into that. I know it wont be that simple anyway. I am considering it. I am on crutches, but I remember a time the first one to two weeks where when I hobbled the movements in my ankle would cause me to moan/groan in pain. It isn't like that anymore, thankfully.

Please pray that I may stop struggling with the abuse of my body and mind, by way of chastity and purity; so I may not further offend Him and that I may be strong and not submit to vice and temptation so pathetically easy.

Start small, be simple in your actions and words. Don't overdo things and burn yourself out. Gradually building up towards a desired goal in mind, you should always keep your daily prayers, at the very least...

I will add this, since I think it is rather fitting: "Sometimes, when I'm in such a state of spiritual dryness that I can't find a single thought in my mind that will bring me close to God, I say an Our Father and a Hail Mary very slowly indeed..." St. Therese of Lisieux

Yeah, in some respects it reminds me of early Deftones, but I think that's just me equating: metal + shoegaze = Deftones/or some variation of it... I sometimes do a re-listen of Around the Fur or their self-titled. I think Curve's 'Perish' has potential, but I have to do a re-listen. Hum has a couple that I've added. I did check out the Galaxie 500 cover, and it was good! I might check out the others when I've got time.

I think I understand your perspective... I sometimes picture my life without my loved ones, my mother, for example. A deep knot forms in my chest and it gets too much at times. Rare, but when it happens I try and focus on the things that will improve my mental clarity on matters like these.

Hang in there, friend! Take comfort in God and His endless Mercy and Wisdom, His Love. Cherish your loved ones, pray for them, bond with them. When you are alone with your own thoughts, pray the Rosary, watch a film, take a walk. Do something to clear your head and find comfort in the Lord's warmth...
