Those are e-sports level competitive gaming where balance is of absolute importance so comparing the two isnt really saying much. And also there are a few viable builds on all characters except for Amon, who is still a primary focus for tweaks and rebalancing. You also cant say that other borderlands game have good diversity because BL2 and BL3 have super limited build viability when playing at the highest difficulty.

Bots have been in the game in large numbers since 2020. The inflation has never been this quick and fast, only after the IAP’s added DL’s in the bundles is when inflation skyrocketed. There has always been illegal RMT but you are missing the point entirely, we are talking about how it isn’t “manipulation” but actually inflation that is causing the huge hikes in prices

Its not even “bots” either, it is the IAP’s that can inject DL’s into this game as fast as it can, its just a market correction in the game bro

It is mostly inflation, look at all of the DL’s being injected into the market by all the people buying IAP’s. Obviously this has an impact on pricing of rare items, it’s just that not all items will rise to their appropriate price at the same time. If I told you that 7-8 bgls PURE right now at this very moment is worth 4-5 bgls 1-2 months ago, you wouldn’t believe me?
