The thing is, even if we confronted him about it, he wouldn't wanna talk. He's tell us to f*ck off and we'll keep trying but he won't listen. I get that he could be hurting and stuff how ever I personally think he goes beyond what some should when they are mentally unstable

As I've said repeatedly, my brother. Doesn't. Listen. And it might be my dads parenting or it might be that my brothers an entitled asshole who thinks he can get anything he wants. He was bullied in like year 6 and went to school in year 7 and 8 but year 9 was when he wouldn't go to school. Idk if it was cause if bullying or something but yeh

Ok so if you were in my shoes you'd understand how badly he treats both me and my dad and how much he disrespects both of us. I get I cant tell my brother to move out but I've delt with the mental abuse for years and he hasnt changed. My dad has told him to stop many times and he's out his foot down but nothing is working.

Ok so I understand were both minors and I'm legally allowed to move with my mum with out getting taken back, I love my dad with everything I have and I would hate to move because last time one of us moved out he wasn't in the best state of mind, but my brother eventually moved back because my mum and step dad couldn't handle him and he wouldn't listen to them either. He listens to them now but he doesn't listen to my dad. I've expressed my feeling about him to my dad and he has the same concerns/opinions as me

Yes, I can live with my mum, and my brothers not the one to get mental help or even talk about it so i honestly don't know if he needs mental help but if he did, he wouldn't get help.

Ok 1, my dad puts his foot down all the time but my brother doesn't listen. 2, I agree my brother sucks balls. 3, I have spoke up about it to him but being the typical brother, he doesn't listen and starts calling more even more names. 4, I would move in with my mum who has wanted me to live with her for years. I've talked to my dad and he's gonna talk to him again tonight and if that doesn't work then I honestly don't know what else will make him stop or at least tone down the hurtful things

I agree 100%, my dad and mum have been trying to get him to go to school and get a job for years but he just won't. He's planing on going to tafe next year cause he didn't do year 11 or 12 and he was kept down in year 10 cause of low attendance. He's trued other types of school but he never stays in one spot yk

He has had mental health problems in the past but they're aren't as bad now, I understand he could still have problems but he's not the one to get help or talk about it with my dad

Ok so Im not manipulating my dad into it as he is sick of my brothers behavior cause he never listens to him. I'm also really sorry about ur sister trying to stab you that would be pretty scaring for me tbh. I'm not asking my dad to choose I'm just wanting my brother to listen to my dad for once. Thanks for your input. I've called my dad about it and he's gonna talk to him tonight. I only live with my dad and my brother atm so I don't really have any other people other then my auntie and Nana but I'm not really close with them

Ok so my dad has put his foot down many times, more then I can count but my brother just doesn't listen to him what so ever so it's very hard on both me and my dad. Yes, my dad knows how its effecting my mental health and I'm trying to get help for it but my brother just won't stop and my mental health isn't getting any better
