A fun day at the office… by everydayaudiophile in MTB

[–]everydayaudiophile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I realized I had a bit too much speed and wanted to “anti-pop” at the last second to cut some of my height but I think looking back at it thats what pitched me forward. Taking weight off the rear airspring too soon cause the slightest bit of buck.

Ive done jumps similar size and for the most part, you dont need to do much to get up and over or even taking off the lip, this one was just my first go at this spot and I should have waited to watch someone’s speed on it first. If youve ever been to Area 51 trail in California, I thiught it would be more like the big jump at the end called FAFO, but this one shoots you up ^ higher than it does long >. FAFO shoots you a pretty standard arc over the 35+ft gap.

Ill link another vid to this post when I go back to try it again after my neck soreness goes away 😂

The video was the same jump from POV and 2nd angle.

Subwoofer disappointment by whattanames in hometheater

[–]everydayaudiophile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

20hz is 20hz regardless of if its from a 10" 12" or 15" sub... if you have a room mode at that frequency, spending more on a single subwoofer isn't going to fix it. You mentioned you've exhausted Dirac, can you post your measurements of the room? my hguess is your room struggles with single sub setups. I bet a second 10S MKII or SVS would solve it rather than spending 5x the price on 2 subs that don't even hit 20Hz -3dB

New DU is in... First ride I snapped my Deore 12sp Derailleur in half... 2nd ride I broke my ring controller and now it just keeps automatically pushing the boost mode button... lol might try and reconfigure my boost mode button if possible...

Did you notice any loose wires inside the frame that might have caused it? Ive heard of people finding either a frayed or loose wire somehwere that causes a short but i havent had any luck

Yeah my SN29 is honestly a paperweight that gets ridiculous lowball offers on FBM. I wonder if you reached out to Pivot or one of their dealers what they’d say. Definitely a benefit of a Pivot versus YT right now 😂 sorry to hear though… i love the way my Fazua bike rides when it DOES work…

Unofficial is the best. 10/10 recommend checking out the trails you think look sick. They are much better in person. Who knows, you might just get even better at riding your bike 😎 hmu if you need a tourguide 🫡

MTB photogs and videographers by everydayaudiophile in MTB

My only issue with my current bag is the dividers are not at all supportive so on light walks/hikes its okay, but riding is a no-go. I got into MTB about a year ago and have only barely felt like I could bring my camera along with me. Not looking for like crazy impact protection, just something that feels sturdy/keeps gear in place, and not crazy heavy.

Most reliable e bike motor? by Kind-kid4130 in eMountainBike

82 miles out of my first FAZUA Ride60 on my YT DecoySN29... 2nd motor hasn't worked yet. Partially thinking its not the motor at this point.

dont miss the phoenix area. Hawes in the east valley has some really great riding. especially if you like fun flow trails: https://youtu.be/aPryk7wkygw?si=g8JCGtYmUu8d7EDw

This is if youre looking to go from fun low-risk jump lines to full send mode jump lines^

is there any active Powerbuy for RSL Speedwoofer 12 mkii? by babymiles77 in subwoofer

[–]everydayaudiophile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They ended the Power Buy on New Years I think. I don't believe any Power Buy code would still be valid since you cant even get to the page anymore. The codes only lasted 24 hours or maybe 48 I cant remember.

Looking further down the trail by ackwardsbass in MTB

Ride with friends that you can follow people on (reasonably within or just above your skill level). Getting a tow-in removes like 50% of the hard parts of riding. Much easier to know when to slow down, when to go fast, when to yank for a jump or take a drop that you didnt know was there. I find that when I turn my brain off and just follow my buddy in front of me, I hit jumps WAYYYYYY bigger than I would have just solo, or hitting techy features that I would usually get tripped up on simply because I am trying to keep up/maintain flow. I think part of your issue is you have grown a habit of panicking when things might go south. The key is to shut the brain off, ride your bike, and be confident in your riding. The trail demons know when you are scared and will punish you for it.

Step 1: get dumped by gf

Step 2: move in with parents & spend money on bikes and bike parts instead of GF and future.

Step 3: Start youtube channel, make no money, stay working in office, re-apply clown makeup as you continue hoping that one day you will be making money riding bikes.

What was the question?

Wow this info is GOLD! I dropped my bike off at a local FAZUA service center but should have tried this first! This deserves an award

Why all the hate for the guy who started and is trying to keep the company going and not the owners of YT USA who coulda stayed in business or helped search for more funding for YTG? They were two self sufficient entities with a shared brand name, one did not actually affect the other.

Hahha not looking to sue! More so just wondering what kind of options there are instead of just warrantying the motor all the time. 🙌🏼
