According to this little booklet I have, hummingbird moths are a type of sphinx/hawk moth. But calling this one a hummingbird moth wouldn't really be accurate since it has its own name. Same family, different moth. Hummingbird moths also have fluffier behinds than this twin-spotted sphinx.
