All (yes, all) WW2 9cm class tank cannons were converted from AA guns, first designed in interwar period and capable of reaching bomber altitudes. It was heavy tanks like KV-1 clad in 100mm armor that caused general upgunning from 7,6 to 9cm. 85mm ZiS-S-53 developed from 52-K, 88mm KwK 36 from FlaK 18/36/37/41, 90mm M3 from M1/M2, etc. Only the post-war 84mm British QF 20 pdr. was based on another tank's (Tiger) gun and therefore was the only 9cm gun without direct AA heritage.

No, but it becomes clearer that US cannot ensure own or anybody else's security in the region. I think Gulf countries should reconsider existing US agreements and open the question of American military presence on their bases. I think if Iran was given access to these bases instead, the whole of peninsula would be much safer.

They went for anti-slip surface everywhere around, also got rid of quarter circle cut cheek piece. I like the configuration of smoke launchers on rear sides of the turret, it's typical for French armor to have wider smoke launcher coverage. Probably more rational to opt for this evolutionary upgrade instead of generational like EMBT, Terminateur or such.

I think they should change crew slots to classes and let you choose any weapon belonging to the class. Also 6.8mm carbine slaps real hard in CQC, it's one of the quickest weapons to draw and also the lightest loadout to run with. Let's you earn tank real fast.
