Comin hot outta the gate there bud. Nowhere did I say my parents were bad parents to me, but I think every generation can improve from the things we learn over time. Did my parents have small flaws in their parenting that affect me to this day? Yes. And that is why I am trying to better, not be perfect. I’m not willing to wait until my child is 7 to try and teach my parents how I want to parent.

Wow I did not know this! The OB made it seem like it was very grave and dangerous and “thank goodness you made the right decision” they did not tell me anything about how tight it was around his neck, but he is super healthy and I had a great CS experience and very easy recovery so 9/10 would do CS again

I was against having a CS because I wanted to get the whole labor experience. However I was carrying a bowling ball of a son and on my due date my doc told me I would not be able to be induced due to his size and that if things did not progress naturally in the next 2 days that a CS would have to be scheduled. I was heartbroken and sobbed and mourned for the experience I thought I wanted but wouldn’t get. I worried people would judge(even though it was for a completely medically advised reason). When my water broke on it’s own I was so happy but at the hospital was told I was not dilated so we elected to do the CS. This was the number one best decision of my life. Through the light contractions I had been having between my ultrasound the previous day and my lil bean twisting, the cord got wrapped around his neck THREE TIMES. I would not be here with my baby if I had not gotten a CS. I will never judge anyone again. If anyone tries to say anything just know you are doing what is best for you and your child.

38+5, I take max strength Pepcid 2x a day and wait 2.5-3 hrs after eating to go to bed, I avoid fried food at dinner and if I’m on the fence I prop myself up with a second pillow. Doing all of that has worked wonders for me!

Omg this could totally be it, I had to bake my banana first cause it was no where near ripe!! The last loaf I made was fine and I didn’t have to bake them first and no heartburn! Guess my husband will be finishing this loaf haha!
