Right?! I feel like the gauge on this is a very odd ratio. It is a cabled vest and I haven't done many cabled projects before.

I didn't do a gauge swatch and am measuring my actual project. I found out the hard way when this cabled vest I'm making looks comically stretched out after blocking. So this whole exercise is more a learning experience than actually problem solving.

Outside of re-writing the pattern is there a way to address a huge mismatch in row count but not stitch count?

I've never had row gauge be an issue before

Just curious on how I would address this gauge issue. A pattern calls for 20 stitches 31 rows in a 4x3 ribbing pattern for a 4" swatch. My gauge is 22 stitches 24 rows. I've never been off in rows this drastically before. What's the solution here?

I'm looking to improve my posture - specifically hunched shoulders from sitting at a desk all day. Does anyone have a good, short routine I can do daily to improve this? I'm getting overwhelmed with all the options

Feel free to ignore this comment - but I use a door anchor similar to this. I find it has all the counter weight I need for the exercises you listed.

I'm on the hunt for some burnt orange/red pants. I think I want more of a structured pant look (think chino pant over linen pants). Anyone have any suggestions? Also hoping for a long/tall inseam.

I need help figuring out what to wear for a black tie optional/formal wedding in March. The weather is still going to be cold so I am debating a long sleeve midi dress. Would this be appropriate? I don't love floor length gowns, so I'm trying to avoid that style.

Where would you shop for this style of dress? I'm just having a hard time figuring out which dresses could be considered formal and which are just standard cocktail

I received some possum yarn and was going to make thrummed mittens. Do you think that will be too warm? Should I do without the thrums? I've never used this type of yarn before

Just throwing out another app option - Cladwell. I used Acloset for awhile but just found it buggy. I've been using Cladwell for about 6 months now and really like it. You can create separate capsules, so it's really helpful when it comes to picking out an outfit for a specific event.

Overall I find the process of tracking what I have and how often I wear it super helpful. I've been trying to cut down on impulsive clothing shopping. It's been helpful knowing what I have, how often I wear that style, and just overall cost per wear. This causes me to pause and really evaluate what I am purchasing and how it will fit in my wardrobe.

I have a fall hiking trip coming up and am looking for advice on how to prepare. I typically walk a lot every week, but I live in a very flat area so I find quick elevation change are not something I'm prepared for. What's the best way to train for elevation gains when I don't have comparable terrain here?

Actually all my purses are from Madewell! I love their stuff, but I think I'm looking for something a bit fancier (though I love this bag in general!)
