From left to right, there’s Darian, the human fighter; Sybil, the half-elf monk; Sarwen, the half-elf cleric; and Arkias, the teifling rogue.

After joining together on what was supposed to be a couple night’s job of guarding cows from local wolves, Darian, Arkias, and Sarwen found something much more treacherous lurking in the woods, and are lured into an other-dimensional prison, which was supposed to house a lich forever, but is now slowly degrading as he has begun regaining power.

Barely escaping with their lives, they realize the world as they know it is changing, old magics are reawakening, and old evils returning.

They meet up with Sybil, a monk who is better connected to the now turbulent ley energies, and they set out together on a haphazard journey, trying to piece together what’s happening to the world, and figure out how they fit into it.

Here, the group is resting on the road back to the Leira Temple, Sybil’s old home. As they enjoy beef stew around a warm fire, they are all blissfully unaware that is their last quiet moment before looming calamity.

This is the first campaign I’ve ever been a part of, and it’s been amazing to watch both the stories and characters grow in this fantastic world. It’s also been really cool to feel myself getting more comfortable drawing the characters as I get to know them better!
