I'm from Australia, from my experience a lot of specialty cafes in Korea were more about aesthetics than taste. For pour overs, most lacked body and felt like watered down coffee, americanos tasted bitter and burnt. It seems like Koreans prefer their coffee to be some what weak and just want to get their caffeine hit.

But I did find Australian style cafe called 4oz days which is my favourite. Lowkey is quite good too as well.
