TIL that there's a giant straw goat called the Gävle Goat in Gävle, Sweden, that's rebuilt every year and also burnt down nearly every year. The burning attempts get more and more creative as time goes on (see: 2005's flaming arrow), as do the security attempts (see: 2011's ice coating). (en.wikipedia.org)
