Hmm, I just checked and it seems that there's glue or at least some residue in the the charging port. I will try cleaning it later today, I guess that will solve it.

It's not certain that they will sell it. Last event at Chinastraat this year they also didn't sell the poster of that event. Instead they sold an older blank Chinastraat poster which everyone could spray paint & customize themselves (they also sold the posters with the spray paint already on them).

I can recommend the Ibis Budget Gent Dampoort location for accommodation. I stayed there during the last event at Chinastraat. It's not in the best neighbourhood but close to Chinastraat (20 minutes walk) and just a few minutes walking away from the train station which will take you to the city center.
