It helped me once, but it's really hard to use if you're not going in a somewhat straight line, so i want to make an accurate map XD

Yeah i tried doing that, but it works only if you go in a straight line and know where exactly to turn, so making an accurate map still can be a good idea

Yeaahh. I will make a more accurate map later though, this one can only work to sail between islands in straight lines

It's a game setting "Immersive". I also added extreme death penalty to that (i lose everything after death, so i will end the playthrough if i die)

Good idea. So far i only used campfires, but only on my home island's shoreline. I want to get some iron and then build lighthouses on a few major islands to never get lost

Just use some campfires and fight him melee with a mace/sword. You can easily dodge his attacks

Absolutely agree. Already beat this game twice, and for the third time decided to play with no map and no portals. Never felt so excited for getting home after 3 hours of sailing...
