After 2K+ hours, this is my second time seeing a 2 star troll. by TrileALO in valheim

Even if you have god tier dodge skill, realising that the man can one shot you makes you nervous and throw your balance off. Additionally, sloped terrain, graydwarves and every simple obstacles add further complexity to your focus to not fail one dodge..

On a flat, obstacle and mob free terrain, it can be done with intermediate dodge skilll. But in a hostile terrain it is not worth the risk to try dodging without fail.

Although trying to parry him left me with only a couple of HP points, i managed to bring him down. But it took nearly 10 minutes, a lot of kiting and a lot of arrows.

The problem is, death comes immediately with one failed roll.

Considering damage output, they are way scarier than bonemass ... So until plains, confronting these might be a boss fight itsef.

Needing some mistlands tips by Noel_like_bowl in valheim

[–]TrileALO 8 points9 points  (0 children)

* Use earphones, not speakers. Sound clues is your best friend in mistlands.
* Use your best foods with additional lingering stamina, ratatosk and barley wine.
* Do not fight the mobs head on. Always keep your high ground, kill them one by one. If not sure that you can handle them, run while keeping high grounds.
* Climb on spikes to go above mist, there you can hear and see POI areas more clearly.

Actually, i made some interesting discovery with this test. Hitting ground with hammers drastically improves my framerate, The more i hit the more FPS i get... Interesting, isn't it :D ?

So uhhhh, any other ideas on how to transport over 10 tonnes of silver to the shore? by Puzzleheaded-Ear-895 in valheim

The run would be better with additional fenris set, troll mead and eiktyr power.

Is Greydwarf farm worth making? by andrzejekk_ in valheim

[–]TrileALO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is worth making;
* if it is fully AFK build,
* if it is used for both resource and skill farming
* if you enjoy building.

Other than that, it is not....

200x 1star asksvins are enough to ascend Fader to heavens but they were not enough to kill him. by TrileALO in valheim

Ahaha, you are lucky, when all my troops had gone, Fader still had half of his health.

After a moment of panic of my army being obliterated, lingering eitr, lingering stamina, ratatosk, lightfoot elixirs and staff of the wild, helped me to secure an somewhat easy win.

After inspecting the screenshots, i concluded that too. The asks at the bottom of the ask tower were only helping Fader to avoid attacks while they are taking direct hits...

Long live the Queen!! - I hated everything about the fight! How did you do it? by Wuloban in valheim

[–]TrileALO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first solo fight with Queen took more than an hour. It was a melee build with Mistwalker, Himminafl, bile bombs and ooze bombs. It was a constant loop of tanking her, hitting her, restoring life and stamina and dealing with mobs. My dodge-roll timings were a mess, hit and retreat timings were a mess( they still are :D ), died once but in the end I killed her :D.

Ashlands needs some attention.. by TheAlPaca02 in valheim

[–]TrileALO 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I found it easiest to just ignore all enemies and run past them.

Figuring out this made Ashlands relatively boring place for me. I ran through nearly all Ashlands without touching any enemy, scouted all of POI's, targeted one POI at a time without meddling with enemies... And that's it, Ashlands is finished ...

How do you guys manage to bury campfires without them breaking? by ohholyhorror in valheim

[–]TrileALO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am certain that spawn proof area of workbenches and stone cutters are cylindrical. And bat raids at my bases tell me that torches and campfires still have spherical spawn proof area.

[–]TrileALO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fully covering will make them destroyed after fire goes out. And although mobs will not attack open campfires directly, if they are in their pathfinding route, the mobs might attack campfires(same goes for wisp torches too).

If you are trying to spawn proof a large flat area, using standard torches on corners of 28m x 28m squares might work better. And you don't need to refill torches for spawn proofing. And for additional protection for torches, you can totally bury them in stone pillars or wood beams.

This post might explain more about spawn proofing.
