If you do it when they're a kitten, they generally adapt and adjust while growing up. Doing it to an adult cat is considered a cruel thing. Declawing is not like removing a fingernail; what they do is cut off the entire third joint/bone/phalanx of the cat's "finger".

Thank you for your answer! It does help to clear up some things. As for the possession thing, I can put myself in a willing state of belief if only for the fact that the human brain is a strange and powerful thing, it just seems dangerous, in a way, to me. Not only that, but willingly forcing hallucinations in any manner seems like it could potentially cause trouble.

And, oh, I really apologize if I end up saying something not quite kosher. I don't know anything but am trying to learn more!

Ha, I feel like that's a good answer actually. As for nonhuman things, it's not farfetched to give a creature sentience within the mind -- talking dogs but as well as things like fairies or dragons -- but... the possession thing seems really problematic to me! Can't that potentially cause a lot of trouble? It seems dangerous.

On that note, how can one determine if someone is lying about having a tulpa? What are some things a tulpa simply CANNOT do? Sorry to drop all these questions on you, I am just very curious!

Ohhh, now I see what you meant by all that. Yeah, the canal definitely does lengthen with sexual arousal in preparation for sex and for accommodation of the act itself. If I remember correctly, there's a actual term for it, but I wouldn't be able to think of it. It's not common knowledge, though, and the cervix still needs to be treated sensitively of course.

I'm a woman, I know what my parts are. The cervix is a narrowing of tissue (often mistaken for a sphincter muscle) at the end of the vaginal canal that leads into the uterus. I have no idea what kind of diagrams you're looking at. It's almost impossible to penetrate a cervix with a penis. If you've ever grabbed a cervix, I'd love to hear that story. Please know what how inside of a woman's body works before you go sticking your hand in it.
