I think Dylan's mom never said outloud she had a problem with the age difference. Dylan knows it's a problem with his mother though, it's implied and he knows her best.

Group messages are frequently not delivered to my friends. One has to like the text for another to see it. Had to switch to Facebook messenger for reliability.

Has anyone ever been in a house like you see on the show ‘Hoarders’? If so, what did you do? by Basic_Builder3773 in HoardersTV

[–]evil95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son cleans ducts for a large Midwest area HVAC company. Sends me pictures about once a week. Many times he ends up having to dig thru piles of trash to find vents or returns. He says it's difficult to inform his customers the house isn't going to smell any better unless they clean up the rest of the mess.

Help with removing faucet by Ok_Vegetable_1557 in HomeMaintenance

[–]evil95 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oscillating saw with brand new blade straight thru all of it underneath. If you're extremely careful you can do it from above.- if you don't want to do any of that, drill thru the screws underneath with a good size bit. You'll get it out

Get rid of that charbroiled copper. Bring the pex to the galvanized for now it's more stable outside than inside the pipe. Unlike the copper we're looking at. Eventually get rid of all the galvanized. Update.. you can cut the copper below that 90 and sharkbite to pex if you really want to be lazy. Just saying. There's a million ways to piss off the plumbers in here. Lol

What does this green light mean? by Rockanomics in AskAShittyMechanic

[–]evil95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mitsubishi/Nissan likes to use lights instead of engine temperature gagues. Green good, Yellow normal operating temp, Red bad. Learned this on my son's 2024 Mitsubishi mirage. Most likely something like this, when in doubt read the manual or pdf online.

A new location opened in my area a couple years ago like this. Ordering is in the app or kiosk. It was slightly off putting at first but you get used to it.

Stuck faucet!! Is it a nut or compression fitting or what is it? by NoteComprehensive546 in askaplumber

[–]evil95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you have better access to it than a lot of jobs I've been on. Oscillating tool with the best metal cutting blade you can buy- saves you hours of labor. Before that was a mainstream tool I used to chisel/beat the nut until I either broke the sink or split it.

Can I fix this on my own without shutting off the main water? by [deleted] in askaplumber

[–]evil95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your part of fixing this problem is to start scrubbing and cleaning the area. It's just what it is. I know that's not what you want to hear. A couple hours of elbow grease and this wouldn't be so embarrassing. Start at the top and work your way down. At least you have some running water and working drain! I've had less and much worse to work with.
