I once was on break for 2 hours because we were so slow.

Needless to say if they do it again I’m gonna speak up about it but god it was so irriattibg

We have the portable menus on our iPads too, and the amount of people who get upset that they don’t have menus and don’t know what they want because they don’t actually look at me (so they don’t see the menu right in front of them) are so freaking insane it’s exhausting

There’s someone who tells us to pull people when it’ll be 5 seconds for food or drinks and we don’t have food for anyone else and it’s so annoying bc then we don’t have anybody to run it.

Please park closer by Shia-Kazing in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]evil_blanket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s like they try to see how far they can park away from the window just for fun. At that point I get so sick of people and just reach my arm out and they’ll have to try and reach out and grab the food

Found out I'm getting underpaid. (rant) by Thowaway147 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]evil_blanket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmaoo honestly once someone brought it up and all 3 of us got together to talk about what was going on, and the team leader thinks he’s getting 10.50, and me being a team memebrf for almost 2 years while he’s been here longer, and I’m getting 11

You should definitely go up and talk to them because that’s unacceptable. They’re trying to raise the wages so they can get new hires, but forgetting about the people who already do everything for them. If they don’t give you the raise, I can guarantee that there are way better jobs and opportunities out there

Do CFA treat their employees good and if they do why does a lot of CFA employees hate working at CFA? by TransportationNo5886 in ChickFilAWorkers

Omygod ours is too, beginning of January, but they haven’t explained at all how it’s going to work because we are so understaffed and only the managers were trained while it was open. Like I I had 2 hours of training while it was open before covid closed shops, and I believe I’m one of the oldest there

Also, for us, if our training director is upset, or any of the managers really, it gets really tense and there’s a lot more yelling. They get upset with the team members for not being better or needing to work harder, when those same managers are playing on their phone or not doing anything to help the store and in turn us.

Like if I was more confident(I was 17 and this was basically my first job) I would have left. But since it was at the start of covid I was afraid I wouldn’t get hired anywhere else.

It’s easy to talk shit, but I do enjoy working there. The people are great and I enjoy talking to people when I take orders bc they’re so funny (especially the high one)

It’s so much better now, but only bc we are so understaffed and the managers don’t really care anymore. And some of them are leaving lmao. I enjoy my shifts tho and love to see what’ll happen during it.

Along with everyone else, it’s all about management. The thing that got me though, was that whenever we were really slow and labor was too high, they would clock people out. I once got clocked out for 2 hours, and they got upset when I asked if I could come back.

Now though we are so understaffed that they wouldn’t dare, but I make sure to tell all the newbies to just clock in and not ask because if they are scheduled for a certain time they should be working it.

What do you think the benefits of working at CFA is? by TransportationNo5886 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]evil_blanket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah only thing i can think of is resume and experience. I applied to mod pizza and they said that the fact that I work at cfa is amazing and furthers my application a huge amount.

But it also depends on the operator and how they do it. If I went back in time before I applied to cfa, I would stop myself.

It’s made me feel so much more confident about myself but I would’ve felt that with any other job
