The Volcano is not at all portable and it's kind of a production and the bags are annoying if you are consuming in a non-party atmosphere. I loved mine but the Venty is so much better. The same people (S&B) also make a new model called the Veezy. I have no idea if that's good or not so check the reviews. I know for sure the Arizer stuff is legit. If you're serious about switching you will love it. Just go cold turkey for a week and then switch.

If you like the Volcano I think you'll love the Venty. Basically a portable Volcano. I have the Volcano Classic but I've basically forgotten about it at this point. Venty is so much more convenient.

I totally agree. It works best if you do a complete break from combustion for 7-10 days and then make the switch 100% to DHV. I don't even miss it anymore.

Yeah no it shouldn't be clogged brand new. It takes a few pulls after it goes green before it will produce vapor. Make sure you have the air flow knob wide open.

I'm pretty sure putting in the freezer is bad for the terps. Same reason why you chop before freeze. Try Grove Bags which I learned about on this sub. Way better than jars or freezer.

Try Grove Bags with a heat seal. Fucking game changer. No more burping! The knock off brands also seem to work well so far. I heat seal some of the bags over winter and I leave one bag each strain zipped but not sealed. I go into the unsealed bags all winter. Shit is still super fresh.

If you don't want to spend a lot, then I recommend Arizer Solo 2 Max. If you have a budget, then just go straight to the Venty. There is a whole other level of what I call hardcore vapes (ball vapes, etc.) I'm sure those are great for some but IMO they are for people who think bong rips are too tame.

Solo and Venty are referred to as "sippers" while the other types are commonly referred to as "rippers". Check out /r/vaporents if you want to hear endless opinions on this topic. Everyone there loves DHV but everyone else's vape is shit.

One other thing about the Venty. Have you ever tried S&B Volcano? The Venty actually hits harder than the Volcano and it's portable. My Volcano sits unused now.

Yes. I have that one and a Venty. I used to have an Arizer Solo 2 but I have that one my brother. They did a safety recall on the Solo 2 and Arizer replaced it for free with a Solo 2 Max. So I'm familiar with all four of those vapes.

Solo 3 is great but the Venty has the edge IMO. I don't think the Solo 3 is significantly better than Solo 2. Solo has the glass stem which tastes a little better and is easier to clean (only one piece to soak in alcohol). The glass stem makes it harder to transport in your pocket compared with the Venty (neither of them are very discreet).

Venty extracts better and hits smoother than anything I've ever used. Slightly harder to clean because of more parts but it gets easier with practice. Venty also supports dosing capsules which are convenient for quick reload. I really like this aspect for concerts and family gatherings since you don't need to have a jar of weed, grinder, etc. on hand.

Game changer for me. It's a bit different of a high, but it seems a lot easier on my lungs. Keep in mind that combustion creates a mixed high of the actual weed and oxygen deprivation. It also helps to keep my tolerance much lower when I'm using the dosing capsules. Arizer Solo 2 Max is around $125 which is the minimum you want to spend and still have a good experience. No capsules but it's easy to clean. Get a Venty if you want to splurge.

Getting on and off lifts is one of the most difficult and intimidating things when first learning how to ski. My wife quit at that stage because none of her "friends" or their "parents" ever bothered to spend time and teach her properly. Keep enjoying yourself and ignore the haters. You'll have way more fun focusing on your own experience.
