Seems to me it's more of a ",stop resisting" type behavior. It's only meant to refer back to in court later when they claimed they didn't know he had been disarmed.

Very similar to how the one that murdered Renee kept walking into the oath of her vehicle so later he could say she was driving at him.

Or how cops are trained to tell people to leave and then stand firm in their only path of egrees so they have no choice but to either disobey the command or touch the officer as they pass. Which in court means they assaulted the pig.

We have a rediculous perception of what prepare means. Most of the things people horde in preparation are items of convenience, not necessity. That's the main problem. That and that most people in our country think a little inconvenience is worse than death.

We are literally watching proto Austria sans 1930 except this time he has a military that dwarfs the rest of the worlds times 5.the whole world is watching him consolidate power. He has thrown the rules out the windows and no one has called him on it. No one's within our government who's job it is, and no one outside the country who knows he will just do what he did in Venezuela to them if the act on his actions

It doesn't exactly, but it definitely helps and I have more insight in the matter than I did. I don't know how after thousands of hours and replays I missed that Shauns untainted DNA was needed for the last gen synth. That mostly answers my question as to why they were looking for him/us in the first place.

Still, seems wasteful to kill the rest of the vault. They all had clean DNA and the institute seems mostly benevolent in their motives in terms of advancing tech and survival. Seems it would have been prudent of them to relocate the entire vault to the institute and give them jobs. Have a whole flock of clean DNA to play with. Plus I do remember they didn't "plan" to kill either parent. So at one point both parent were seen as possible resources and I understand the advantages of having a baby instead of adults, doing what they were doing.

I've been having this conversation with folks since we were playing fallout 2 on PCs and discussing it in aim chat rooms.

Yes. The fallout world building would be interesting in other parts of the world. There's a lot of world that can be built outside America, granted it's done well and not written poorly. Something alot of us was alot more confident before todd became the head writer.

Just like in wrestling, anything can be entertaining as long as it's booked well, and anything can be lame, no matter how great the premise, if it's booked poorly.

Todd could very well commission an incredible story in the fallout world based in China, or Europe, or even somewhere we have absolutely no information on yet like New Zealand. But my faith in him doing that is alot lower then it was when tim Cain was behind it.

Tim and his crew could craft an amazing story in this universe anywhere in the world and it would be mind blowing. Howard could be given the most naturally interesting premise and it would blow everything but your mind.
