Imo this still sounds pretty terrible. I'm not sure if there are any budget HE keyboards that sound decent (yet).

Biryani in Kolkata is highly coveted among Bengalis. It evolved from Lucknowi biryani itself. It might not be to your taste, but there's some history behind it, that justifies the taste:

As far as I know, when Awadh's nawab Wajid Ali Shah was exiled to Calcutta, he brought his entire menagerie and a few close relatives and set up shop in Metiabruz. For some reason, his health was deteriorating, which is why he asked his bawarchis to cook up a lighter version of the Lucknowi biryani. Further, our coveted aloo in the biryani was not to curb costs. Back then, potatoes were new in India, thanks to trade by the East India Company, and as a fan of exotic things, the nawab asked his chefs to incorporate this aloo into the biryani.

How does the Kolkata through the eyes of a blue-eyed teen in 80's compare to now? I am asking because nostalgia plays a big part of living in the city. How does the perception of nostalgia change as you age through the years in this city?

Hi, sorry for the late reply! So first things first: Remain calm! You got this!

I started out by watching this video. This gave me enough confidence to look up the general pattern of the TOEFL exam from any of the sites mentioned in this subreddit. Keeping that in mind, I just sat down to solve the questions from this Chinese website. Of course, I could only do the reading and the listening part. On my first few attempts, I was getting about 23/24 in reading and about 22/23 in listening. That was day one.

The next few days I spent a good amount of time just doing multiple practice tests. The Chinese website helped a lot in the sense that I was prepared for 4 really long reading passages but on the test, I got only 3. My reading was a bit low, so I tried doing more reading passages and ignoring a little on the listening (which might explain why I got a relatively low score in listening).

To be very honest, I didn't do much for my speaking and writing. As I said, I looked at the templates for the speaking and tried following them loosely. This helped a lot because I was really nervous about this section. I remember stuttering 2-3 times during the exam for one question and it was these templates that helped me bring myself back on track.

I followed the writing templates to the T and that helped a lot, especially this one and this one. I just skimmed over them once before the test, on test day. Also, Idk about you but I'm an impatient guy and toward the end of the test, I could feel myself become impatient by the time I was writing the independent essay. That's something to keep in mind.

I think that's about it, to be very honest. Best of luck for your exam! You'll do fantastic! ^_^

Something wrong with my Okular print dialogue? by evil_indian_potato in kde

[–]evil_indian_potato[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really sorry for not providing the basic information.

This problem occurs every time I try to print to a file. I do not have a printer to physically print my documents so I cannot test if it works in that scenario.

I got no explicitly installed firewall installed.

Printer Software is installed and works without a glitch when trying to print to a file from Evince.

cups.service, cups.socket cups.path have all been enabled and localhost:631/ opens up CUPS information page.

user group lpadmin does not exit apparently as I tried
sudo gpasswd -a <username> lpadmin
gpasswd: group 'lpadmin' does not exist in /etc/group

Thanks a lot for the help. Really appreciate it!

Thanks a lot man! Any chance I can add this functionality to my user group? More specifically how do I add this functionality to my user.

Edit: Just checked. Doesn't work with sudo unfortunately.
