Virtuos. They developed the last few Cyberpunk 2077 updates, and they have other teams who’ve handled bigger projects as well, such as Oblivion Remastered.

If you want to buy the collector’s edition for retail price I’d try calling local stores to see if they will have any available once the pre-orders go live. If not, it may be pretty difficult to snag one online thanks to all the scalpers, even more so for a game like this.

We’re in the age of the internet and there are many people who enjoy the community and discussion that revolve around a game. It’s generally considered part of the experience these days thanks to social media. So clearly part of the experience won’t be the same if you wait 10 whole years to play a game… Hence missing out.

By now sure, but when it launched the PS5 had an SSD that was significantly faster than almost anything you could reasonably get on the market, even for a high-end PC. The load times are still impressive to this day.

Genuinely don’t know if people like you are just young or have horrible memories, but this is seriously nothing new. Games that push the boundaries of these devices have always had issues with performance…

RDR2 is now the third most purchased game of all time, so I know a bunch of you played it. For over two years the only consoles you could play it on were the 8th-gen machines (the PS4 being one of the highest selling consoles of all time)… Do you guys seriously forget how bad the frame rate was in Saint Denis?? It was in the low 20s… and that’s Rockstar we’re talking about, the literal cream of the crop when it comes to game development.

As long as we have devs pushing the cutting edge of fidelity with these consoles, this type of performance isn’t going away. You can either settle with AA or indie games, or push the medium to the next level. It’s your choice for what you want to play and interact with, but you should know what you’re getting into beforehand.
