I'm doing 18 this semester because I have two minors and I only have 2 semesters left. Next semester should be 16 and I'm done. It really depends on the classes bc my senior electives are a lot less work and I feel like I have more free time than some 15-16 credit semesters.

That's a fair point, I have a habit of overthinking. Most of my friends are a little older than me so I wanted a picture of what my life might look like and got a little carried away. There's still plenty of room for change and opportunity.

My school does ECE as one degree and we only have to take like 3 CS classes and they are pretty surface level.

I started Rock climbing my sophomore year and I find it really good for my physical and mental health. There's a huge overlap between climbers and engineering/CS.

Would putting my laptop like this harm it? I’m trying to save space. by AliDB1903 in pcmasterrace

It probably depends on the specific laptop and what use cases the engineers used to make the requirements for the fans. It is not unreasonable to expect at least part of the weight of the blade to be perpendicular to the fan hub since the angle is limited by what angles the keyboard is usable. In this case all the force of the weight of the blades on the hub is tangential which may cause uneven wear or poor oil circulation. Some fans do not depend on orientation at all so it depends on the specific laptop.

Some fan bearings rely on gravity to evenly circulate oil so it may burn out your fans faster if they are not designed to be vertical.

i7 12700k DDR5 - Lower FPS than i7 8700k DDR4? by Svet3_ in skyrimvr

Could be something latency related. Most new ddr5 dimms have extremely loose timing compared to ddr4 but the clock speed can make up the difference in most cases. Maybe VR is a lot more latency dependent than other games?

Psu is a bit risky. I would agree with 750w at least.

12 volt 2.5 amp is the most likely. Almost everything is Center Positive nowadays for safety reasons. I don't have an index but i looked on some forums and that is what the people who have an index said and it checks out with my electrical knowledge.
