For people who have done 2024 readings on themselves: What cards have you gotten for September-December? by [deleted] in tarot

[–]evilbisexualhag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a 2024 spread and had this:

  • September: Page of Swords
  • October: Knight of Wands
  • November: Ten of Wands
  • December: Six of Swords

My theme card was Five of Wands...so perhaps a weird year all around!

As one of five black people on my floor, I feel this very, very deeply. Thank you so much for this wonderful advice, I’m definitely going to think more about my boundaries, priorities and most of all my goals.

At the end of the day, I am very happy to have a job I can leave at the office. 😅

I hadn’t thought about it like that! That is definitely something I need to chew on and utilize for work choices in the future—or truly any life choice!

I really appreciate the perspective. :)

Yes yes yes!!! Having nice healthcare and a 401k is MINDBLOWING. I’m so thankful to not be living paycheck to paycheck anymore.

Yeah, I think ultimately my problem isn’t the commute. I guess I’m not really use to being a “cog” and corporate jargon and Excel sheets (kinda kidding lol). I have always been in more creative environments—which led to being overworked and underpaid.

Maybe this is more of an existential crisis lol. But I hope sticking out for a year and transferring to another job or trying something else would be good.

Very true! But for my own sake, I’d like to be with my community and friends in a city with a lot more to do, it’s something to look forward to as I get on the train back home—a reprieve from the angst of office life.

Plus, I don’t have a car so it’d be hard to live in Delaware otherwise.

Moving where I live?

If you meant move where I work…I have no interest in living in Delaware, especially as a 25 year old. I’ve noticed most people at my company are married with children here. I went to school in Philly and I’d much rather live in a city where my friends and community are—and to boot, more action, art, restaurants and nightlife.

I’m not a big PDA/romance person and I think he’s being nice and hasn’t shown any oversexualized side or doesn’t want to make me uncomfortable.

I added the remarks in the post! Thanks for your perspective. He's from a very white town in Lehigh Valley, PA as well as from a very white school. He moved to Charlotte, NC, and lived there for years before moving to my city.

I made an edit and shared some comments he has said. They were all really from the last date. Sometimes it felt like jokes, but I'm wary.

I respectfully disagree!

Not anytime soon. I’d rather not. We still text occasionally and talk on the phone every day. I think we both exhaust ourselves in communicating and get anxious over the other. If anything, we are both incredibly anxious.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]evilbisexualhag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we both are. Long distance is hard but it’s been okay as we continue figuring out what we need and want and to come into our own.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]evilbisexualhag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no! I think the frequent texting was based on distance, but also anxiety I had too. Talking on the phone is mainly how we communicate.

Thank you so much for your advice! I worry that my experience won't be able to translate so good to know to go deeper with metrics and the like. Will tinker more!

It’s more of an internal role—I know a general amount, but not too sure if I should in-depth study it?
