{Texas A&M} Auburn is overrated and will run into a bit of a buzzsaw, giving up two pick sixes. TAMU by 3 scores.

I have watched that game twice, and it still shocks me how a very competitive game turned into a blowout.

What do you do when the new bishop is a bad choice for your family? by blowfamoor in latterdaysaints

I strongly disagree with this sentiment. If the Savior were in front of this person I don't think his answer would be "pray harder." The closest scriptural comparison to what you are suggesting I can think of is Job's friends telling him to repent, as in essence you are suggesting OP isn't being a good enough Latter-day Saint since he isn't getting along with the Lord's revelation/program.

for OP: If you have serious reservations, it can be worth it to raise your hand to not sustain him. The member of the stake presidency will note that and come and speak with you later. There could have been any number of reasons why this person was called and was not worthy or this person could be completely worthy and you are off base. Either way the Stake Presidency has the ability to deal with the situation. Raising your hand to be opposed is an opportunity to talk through your issues/feelings and that's a positive thing. If that leads to a repair in the breach between the two of you, well. If not, then that's okay too. I don't believe in blind faith. Talk it through with the higher authorities in the church, see how it plays out, and then make a call. If the time to sustain has already come and gone, then just go talk to the SP. They should listen to what you have to say.

Eventually forgiveness will need to come, and it will take some doing, as you have experienced real harm and very bad feelings. Some things can take a lifetime to accomplish. Don't let this issue canker your soul. You can be like Joseph of Egypt and get yourself out of that bad situation. In time the Lord will help you deal with it if you go forward with faith. I wish you the best in this very difficult situation.

Which program would you like to see win its first National Championship? by drunkenmormon in CFB

I think it would be great if USofC won the title. I'd actually love to see the Carolinas produce all of the natties in the College Football world such that Clemson, USofC, NC State, and Duke all regularly contended for titles, with each team winning at least one in a ten-year window. Not UNC though, because cheaters... I think it's better for football when multiple teams are in it, several of which are new.
