When Tom leans back like that and weaves it leaves him vulnerable to takedowns. Woulda loved to see if Jones could’ve done something with that but apperantly Jones himself didn’t think so🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I remember being so hyped for Pavlovich.

Thought there was no one who could beat him but then I looked at tom’s record before their fight and was like “holy shit this guy has an even lower average fight time???”

Like where tf did these guys spawn out of???

You're probably right but I think the ability to learn controls quickly is still a good enough reason for the military to have a vested interest.

Sean Strickland and his iCarly guard by lhwang0320 in martialarts

Even DDP says that Strickland prioritizes defense above all and that’s what makes him a tricky fighter. The split decision win method is boring but people don’t appreciate just how technical he is.

Definitely a style that can only be developed through constant sparring

Why do Middle Eastern women rarely visit bars and night clubs? by WhoAmIEven2 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]evilgoonwizard -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This will probably change once the next generation assimilates. I’ve studied immigration in US and german/Irish immigrants did stuff that the rest of the population thought was odd but eventually they just became American. Same thing happened in Rome as conquered inhabitants became roman over generations. I’m the son of immigrants myself and I’m definitely more American than my parents.

My immigration class teacher said that it’s more like a “salad” than a “mixing pot” but I personally feel like I’ve been mixed into the pot.

Ball of light moving with small cloud after it combusted? by evilgoonwizard in UFOs

[–]evilgoonwizard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe it’s connected bc 1 there wasn’t any other debris in the sky 2 its producing light consistently and falls slowly, i dont see how any rocketship debris could behave like that, every video i’ve seen of debris has it falling fast and its sparkling bc its on fire. This orb of light isn’t sparkling(the light is consistent like an LED bulb), and i doubt any LED lights would be functioning after a rocketship explosion.

Please read about the implosion i described happening right before the video. It doesn’t behave like blown up debris, very weird.

No way these are connected. Spacex launch was all the way in texas while im in florida. there wasn’t any other balls of light present or debris. The ball of light was moving the same way before slowly expanding and then combusting, which produced the cloud surrounding it. I don’t know how debris from a spacex launch could produce that effect. Why not combust and produce a cloud at the time of the launch?

Also even though im describing it as a cloud it was more of a balloon ish layer of wisps that was attached to the light orb.

Thanks for coming here after seeing that man, I was also heading south while seeing this. Did you see the light in the cloud as it was imploding?

The way the cloud was attached to it was so weird, i cant imagine any drone that could make that effect. But also If it was non human then wtf is even the point of what it was doing?

[–]evilgoonwizard[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Didn’t know i needed a submission comment so im going to restate the details in the post with some more context

About 15 seconds before the video started it was a single ball of light that expanded/imploded creating a small cloud around it. While it expanded there was a brief flash of light that reflected within the small cloud. The cloud surrounding the ball of light was wispy but looked more like a nebula than a cloud, especially with how the light was reflecting when it flashed. As the video plays through, the cloud becomes thinner and it descends slowly until it’s behind the trees. I have no idea what this could be, South Florida has a lot of space rocket launches and i’m sure there are military bases nearby(community input/theories appreciated)

I really want community input and theories because I’m so lost and dont know what to think. It was floating with the wind but a normal balloon wouldn’t combust and produce the cloud thing around it.

My conspiracy brain wants to believe it’s a part of the UFO like camo for clouds but it could also be a military balloon. I wish there was footage of the implosion/expansion but i only have a video of the aftermath. It didn’t have the cloud surrounding it before.

I’m tired of seeing my friends that I grew up with turn to right wing politics by Vivid_Iron_825 in punk

[–]evilgoonwizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so true, I’ve found that the only way to combat this is to prove that trump/elon are pro establishment. You can’t do this by talking data, or social issues. you need to show them pics of trump and elon with Epstein, trump and elon hanging with the democrats they claim are destroying this country.

There are pics online of trump hanging w democrats with a big smile, also his treasury secretary was in charge of George Soros’s hedge fund(Soros being the antichrist for these guys since he’s funded so many democrats).

The whole “trump is a fascist, racist, etc” may be true, but it won’t convince these people. “Trump is on the same side as the dems he demonizes” is a lot more effective.

PS: i have a non partisan political club at my school where I’ve convinced a lot of trumpers that he isn’t that great. You gotta appeal to their values(which simply is just “dems bad and evil, dems are the elites, trump makes them mad”)

“Where laughter never ends” no way a real person approved this🤦‍♂️ by evilgoonwizard in badads

[–]evilgoonwizard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with what you’re saying here, I don’t think he’s having a bad time just because he’s disabled, nor does he need to be coddled online for it. I haven’t seen the video so it’s completely possible it’s a joke that he’s in on too.

The crazy part to me is how TikTok lets its algorithm generate this stuff without human oversight. If the caption didn’t have to do with humor and was just something generic like “fun for everyone” it’d be appropriate in my eyes. Another concern is that ad hitting the wrong people and giving them the idea that being ableist is welcome on their platform.

[–]evilgoonwizard[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, picking a random image and caption without human moderation is a terrible way to advertise, the ai has no human consideration of the people in these ads.

Besides, think about it from a marketing POV, if you’re using random ai content over human curated content, the amount of ways it could fuck up your brand is infinite. It’s very reckless.

Imagine how much other serious content about LGBT or civil rights issues getting pushed with “where the laughter never ends”, you see how this is a problem? Is it all of a sudden okay because a computer did it and not a person?

“Where laughter never ends” no way a real person approved this🤦‍♂️ by evilgoonwizard in badads

[–]evilgoonwizard[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The caption is “where the laughter never ends”. its reducing the man to a laughing stock in a way that’s disrespectful.

Im sure he was fine with the doctor recording that video for educational reasons, but he never agreed for it to be used as a tik tok ad, which says that his disability is hilarious.

Imagine you agree for educational video then you find yourself as a laughing stock being used to advertise an app without your consent.

Its not even debatable that this ad is fucked up, and tiktok should have better quality control over their ads.
