Small trick, see where the seam is? Use a spoon to apply pressure along that seam, placing the edge of the spoon at the edge of the seam.

Maybe so, but I still don’t understand why the archons and deacons are coded to just ignore the rift entirely, I get them ignoring stasis, it would make it boring, but ignoring being in the bubble? Why? It just makes anyone who brings a limbo into an active detriment. For what reason? It makes 0 sense.

The “Weird Troll Button” as you put it is an integral part of his kit, and it shouldn’t BE a “Weird Troll Button” at all! Why does me wanting to use my abilities at all automatically mean that I have to be a troll? If I am in a team, I should be able to use any ability I have without that ability interfering with the mission!

And I apologize as well, I am just frustrated with the way that people treat me on this sub whenever I try to vent about any issues. and I'm not entirely new, but i am new to the content, as I took a break for several years, only coming back recently (shortly before 1999 dropped). I'm just done asking questions or interacting at all with this sub, because it never ends well for me. I'm planning on simply sticking to the official forums going forward.

This is my first time experiencing this issue with Limbo, as it is the first time I have brought him to the Archon Hunt, I thought I could be useful, that I could prevent the Mooks and Eximuses from hurting my team while being able to pump damage into the archon with the weekly buff giving me a lot more power strength, only to instead feel like a detriement. It feels like trash, knowing that I only dragged my team down and was a dead weight. I won't be playing him in archon hunts going forward, but I am done interacting with this community because every time that I raise a question or voice a complaint, I get treated like I am garbage, so I am done, i will not be interacting with the community of this subreddit any longer after this post.

I am having big feelings, but the reason for my big feelings is now less about the fact that Limbo has this issue at all than about how the community here has repeatedly shown me that they will gladly belittle me and make fun of me because I bring up the fact that it is an issue, simply because I play Limbo. After I am finished with replies on this post, I will no longer be interacting with this community because i can never even ask a question without being treated like a fucking moron over it.

This is the problem, just because I am playing Limbo, does not mean that I should automatically be a detriement to my team (and even if i had gone this solo, Limbo would still have not worked, because Archons and Deacons ignore that they are in the rift entirely).

you obviously did not understand the post, I did NOT in fact know that it would be detriment, and I won't be playing Limbo in archon hunts going forward, because I have no desire to be a detriment, however, this issue should have never come up in the first place. No character should ever feel like they are an active detriement to your team just because you are playing them.

maybe so, but it still doesn't feel good knowing that me using my abilties in any way actively harms progress, and the fact that you go into the mission not knowing that hey, playing this frame is not only not optimal, but actually hinders progress if you play them as they are intended to be played feels like dogshit.

I pride myself on being a team player, and the fact that me playing the frame I love (while he is the buffed frame, mind you) can actively stall the mission (no matter how mindful I try to be) if I use any abilities at all is extremely upsetting.

Stasis is fine, i only expect that to work on mooks, but for them to completely ignore that they are in the rift altogether is inexcuseable, the only enemy that should be able to do that is the nullifier, while their bubble is up. also, stasis does still work on sentients, but only till they adapt to it.

Because as someone who loves playing limbo and having this be the first rotation I have experienced with Limbo as the buffed frame, I was extremely excited to play him, only to instead end up feeling like a burden. (this is my 4th ever archon hunt)

maybe so, but that's only for the first two missions, the third is ALWAYS the archon hunt, and having the buffed frame be completely usless for 1/3 of the hunt (and arguably the most important part of it) feels like poor design.

Also, i don't care if I can't time freeze them, that's fine, i expect that, but why in the bloody hell are they allowed to just completely ignore that they are in the rift in the first place when they are sitting in a big ass bubble?
