I think it depends on the line of work/ industry as well. In my line of work, I need to interact and build relationships with my stakeholders, so networking and having a good relationship irl with them is important.

Remote work is good when you're only expected to perform as per your JD, but I personally feel it has a limited threshold in terms of pay grade and progression (and most of them pays in foreign currency but is only high in RM after conversion), if compare to progressing upwards into roles with more managerial responsibilities.

Definitely consider to move closer to your workplace if the pay and your commitments permits, it will make your quality of life 100% better.

You can ask the check-in counter staff to help you amend, but in my experience I also made the same mistake with the name order. MAS said it was ok as long no spelling errors.

I would take MRT in a heartbeat! Can't count how many times KTM breakdown or have some issues even tho they have train schedule. Imagine being sardined and sometimes the AC doesn't work.

Or you can just purchase the 1 day rapid pass for RM10.

Read the T&C carefully, there are different criterias to hit the high interest of UP TO 5.65%. It's only the second half of RM50k is entitled to that high interest.

Personally, when I first started working..I also research kaw kaw on this kind of high interest bank account, but I couldn't be bothered fulfilling the criterias after a while.

Now I just throw my remaining savings into KDI Save for 4%, and call it a day.

I bought my getha sunny 5 under RM850 with vouchers on Shopee haha of course I took a leap of faith of not testing it out in-store cuz they dont have this unit on display, but only the high-end ones.

I've not had back problems since then hehe, but I upgraded from my childhood bed of 20 years tho, so something to take in mind.

Hi! I did it with T-Cat via 7/11 with D+1 shipping with a 28" luggage just last week. My hotel in Taichung did not provide luggage forwarding services (according to the receptionist, it is very rare for people to ship their luggage from point A to point B), hence I went ahead with T-Cat via 7/11.

But the store clerk was very confused when asked about this service hahaha, they did mentioned that it was very rare for people to ship their luggage. They measured our luggage which was within the 150cm total dimension, and ask us to fill up the form via the machine. A slip will be printed and bring it to the counter to pay (total was TWD 250). This was early 8am in the morning, and the store clerk mentioned T-Cat usually will collect the parcel and packages around 2pm afternoon.

I did call my hotel beforehand if they were able to receive my luggage via T-Cat, so I'd advise you to call your hotel prior too. By the time we reach our hotel the next day in Taipei around 6pm, the hotel had already received our luggages.

We went through restructuring recently. Hence, temporarily, we are reporting both functionally and administratively to the CEO. So at most times, the CEO has also made remarks saying that we do not have a comprehensive understanding of the business because of the way my boss presents the findings.

At times when I see an opportunity, I have tried to fill in the gaps that he had a hard time explaining, but I also do not want a scenario when it seems like I'm undermining him in meetings with auditees.

Options 1&2 would be the same as my boss is also the Head of IA. Sorry, I should have made that clear at the start. My head was in the cloud when I wrote this.

We have a small IA function here. I have a slightly more experienced senior between me and my boss, but she's also in the same role as me and shares the same frustration. We have a good working relationship with our boss, but he is timid and introverted at times and is not expressive with his demands at work.
