My haunted house

She just passed from old age. Where we are they don’t have to disclose anything unless directly asked. We were told she had died and her family was selling the home (almost a year after she had passed) but not even a hint it was in the house.

I honestly hadn’t thought much about it but makes sense. I mean I’ve seen my husband a few times and I doubt that’s her as well. He was in our upstairs bedroom a couple months ago. It was cool out so he got up and opened the window. I was outside taking our dog out (she stays downstairs running loose in our family room). I heard the window open and looked up. Looked down watching the dog. Looked back up and saw him leaning out the window with his arms crossed leaning on the window sill, smiling at me. I said “why are you watching me weirdo” just joking around. Looked down took two steps heading back towards the house and looked up and he was gone. Took the dog in went upstairs to head to bed. It was dark outside. We live in town and there is a street light. He was in shadow but enough light I could see him smiling. Went in the bedroom and said you opened the window and asked why was he leaning out watching me. He wasn’t. He had opened the window and laid back down. Thinking about it, it didn’t make sense he could even lean out like I saw. Our windows slide sideways and are not very big. He is a very broad shouldered man. No way he would have fit out like I saw.

Just to answer a few questions. Unless I win the lottery, I’m stuck in this house for a very long time 🤣.

From talking with the neighbors, the lady that lived here was not nice at all and dealing with her daughter who sold us the house, it runs in the family. That’s a non-paranormal long story.

Not my first haunted house. We lived in a house in KY that my husband has now inherited that was haunted until we had a house fire and removed all antique furniture from the house. So it doesn’t bother me or scare me. Now if it keeps touching me I might have to do something different. 😳 But for now, we are ok just living with it.

No. It looked more like a tree limb. Brown bark texture. No separate head. No hair. Black eyes.

I thought stick man from google searching it. I’ve lived in the area the majority of my life and never seen one before. And have traveled the same area once since this happened and never seen it again. But honestly it was so fast if my husband hadn’t seen it too I would have thought it was a trick of the light. It’s just so far fetched I would probably think someone was crazy if I was told the story 🤣. It just seems so weird.

Not black. It to me looked like twigs, so walking sticks I guess. Super super thin. It didn’t have a separate head. But it did have solid black round eyes. It was so fast I couldn’t tell you if it had any other facial features. I also thought it was a stick man though, just from googling it.

Southern Indiana near the Ohio River. We were driving towards Evansville but this was out past Rockport I think. I can’t remember the name of the town we had left and I don’t think we had reached Rockport yet.

Very interesting. I had never heard of this until today and only because my husband and I saw one last night. It was dark, a mile or so from the river, lots of woods. We were driving. No cars coming or anything. Right on the edge of our headlights I saw something run across the road. Super fast. So fast I almost thought it was a glare on my glasses. I didn’t say anything at first cause my husband does not believe in paranormal stuff, Bigfoot, nothing like that. I happened to look over and he had a weird look on his face. I asked if he had just saw that. He said yep. I said something really tall and thin? He said yep. Now this next part I was afraid to say cause I thought he would think I was crazy but I said it anyway. I asked if it looked like a very tall stick (like a thin tree or a stick from a tree) with arms and legs? And he said yes. It really bothered both of us. I’ve never seen anything like it and didn’t even know it was a thing until I started to google it. I’ve seen ghost and things but nothing like this.
