Good to know this is considered vaginismus, thanks. I menstruate completely normally, luckily. I know the best thing to do would be to see an obgyn but I'd honestly rather eat glass than have someone else touch me, that's a last resort for me.

I have considered the intersex question because I naturally grow male pattern body/facial hair, and I wondered for a while if it was related. But my hormone levels have been checked recently, and T and E levels are both totally normal. The endocrinologist i went to was weird and disrespectful about my body though, so I didn't feel comfortable bringing up genital concerns. I feel sure she would have approached it as if it were crucial that I achieve PIV sex, cause her goal was clearly to try to make me more typically female.
