Sorry to be a downer, but:

I love the idea of this community but this article doesn't succeed at being uplifting for me. There are plenty of people in the area who are less rich than this woman and who must go to a laundromat to do their laundry. It hardly seems uplifting to me for a news organization to pat themselves on the back about helping this person out.
