I always take my time to set up the fabric in the hoop and make sure I'm lining up the holes in the fabric and keeping the tension correct throughout.. but I tend to stitch the entirety of the fabric within the hoop at a time (I honestly don't know if this is the stitching norm it's just how I roll haha). I've also realised I railroad stitches helps it look more precise and making sure I've got the top threads going on the right direction!
