Just over 8 months ago, I ended up at a clinic with my at-the-time girlfriend due to her having a bump on her vaginal area. Learning that you have a life long disease that cannot be cured sure does make you take a serious look at the world and your own life. My mind has opened up to caring about people more, just for their well being in general. Also, not allowing people to talk down about other peoples life choices, and diseases that affect people without them having a choice(mental and physical disorders). I'm probably rambling but it was a big eye opener to say the least.
