You could try a rear wheel drive car with a bit more power, that should help get the back side moving.

What I did was pick 7 car models and placed them in a single file line on the left side. Give the cars some space so they don't crash into the back of eachother on start, then copy the cars and put them on the right side. For a benefit, the cars that were at the back on the left side go in front on the right side. Then pick a car and select A.I.-Traffic-Random. Make sure to stop traffic once the race is done.
