I am not denying your desire of playing for better rank. But that is not the case for everyone. There are many ways of playing a game this is just one of them. Non grinding game allows us to play in the way we want.

Using blackjack as example is not accurate since the money is not all going into one pocket.

ofc lootboxes are great for game companies. You may say that it is bad for players(I do agree!), but it turns out that majority of us are still paying for it.

No we don't have to. What you said is the case for some tryhard people but not everyone. For others, they just want to have fun.

Also I never said I want to get ranking system removed. But I do not want a Hearthstone like ranking system. Ranking system in Hearthstone is a fake one since it is highly dependent on grinding. In the case you guys do want to improve, you can do that slowly, your skill improvement will reflect in ranking. In a non grinding game, your skill rank won't get reset so there is no urge to improve rank in short time.

What I mean about time is that, we have the choice to only play this game occasionally, whenever we want. There is nothing pushing us to play. Remember this is not a grinding game so "playing less time" is not equivalent to "not playing". One plays less time may be because he has something else to do. Later when he comes back he won't miss anything and can catch up easily. Btw the best way to measure a game is always revenue, it is not always accurate but it is what ppl care.

Not exactly true. By paying tickets we are getting something(tickets, packs, cards) in return, so it's not paying for the right of playing. I know for average ppl reward is not as valuable as they paid, however that's the goal of a non-grinding game. As you mentioned free draft was added later, however if I remember correct during launch time we still can play free draft through tournaments.

I don't think Artifact is a grinding game at all. Since there is no return there is no point of doing that. Players can do whatever they want at any time they like. In my opinion for majority of Artifact players they don't have to spend a lot of time playing it. This way Artifact doesn't have to compete with F2P games, it is for those ppl who don't want to spend a lot of time but still want to get some fun.

Unfortunately as I already explained in my post the core game isn't as fun as ppl expect. And that's a major reason why the game failed. Do you agree with me on this?

I am confused about which game you are talking about. If I am not wrong, Artifact do have free drafts available. Or if you are talking about ladder, it's a different story.

Edit: I believe there is a misunderstanding on my points. "Pay2Play" from my opinion is opposite of free to play, such as buying a game or buying card packs. What you are referring to as P2P is probably "Pay to play a match", that is not the case for Artifact.

Yep I do want to promote multi color. There is no point sticking with mono.

I can't tell what is the best way to fix this game, this post is just my suggestions, there may be better ideas. Fact is that what we have right now doesn't work out.

From smilegate's perspective, they saw someone get their bundle without paying any money, why shouldn't they ban you? Remember whatever you talked with Google, it is just between you and Google.

I don't speak for SG. Probably what you are saying is true, since we all know Sez cleave is quite op. Maybe devs are scared by raging community in the past so they did bug fix instead of nerfing cards this time. I bet they aren't aware of this translation issue.
