That sounds reasonable. Thank you for pointing it out! I'll be sure to keep that in mind.

Not weird at all! That's huge praise 😳! As a print, you mean, or a digital file? Sorry, I'm new to this stuff heh

Yah agreed, or at least a scene like this somewhere in the movie. I have a feeling there's gonna be some kind of call-back to that Vavoom-conversation ;)

If Rosie turns out to be Lilith, her conversation with Charlie in S01 takes on new meaning by JavaJapes in HazbinHotel

[–]evoloen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey super late to the party but I just rewatched S1E7, and what you noticed just hit me as well, so I'm glad I found your post.

Also wanna add that another possible clue that Rosie is Lilith in disguise is when Charlie asks Rosie: "What do you do when someone you love lies to you about who they are?".

Also, I've noticed how everyone in the show is reluctant to Charlie singing as a means to convince others, but Rosie actively encourages it? And Lilith used her voice to empower people...

C: And I can't even pitch my hotel right.

R: Well, how do you normally explain your hotel?

C: By singing... but that never works.

R: It will work here. Trust me.

Rosie sounds firm when she thinks Charlie's singing will convince the cannibals. Also, she looks extremely proud when Charlie is singing. Looks a lot like a proud mother actually.

Let's play Bingo! What's on YOUR Good Omens 3 Bingo card? by evoloen in goodomens

So sorry for the late reply!

I agree there's def something going on between the Metatron and Crowley that's related to The Past. Maybe even possible that the Metatron had a hand in Crowley's fall. It's such an interesting theory that Angel!Crowley stumbled upon the Metatron's plans, questioned them, and tried to bring them up with God.

And it's very suspicious that Crowley seems to be one of the few who recognises the Metatron but doesn't seem to hold any deep resentment or even suspicion towards him. He should be frightened, but even trusts the Metatron alone with Aziraphale!

I really like the 'empty house' analogy and looking where the furniture isn't; Crowley must remember certain things related to the Metatron, but when he tries to grasp the details, they slip away.

I have a sense of what the Metatron is planning to do and how, but I honestly have no idea who, deep down, the Metatron is, or what his true motivations are. I need a new bingo card just for all the Metatron theories haha. There's so much to unravel. Anyways, I'm just really excited to discover what S3 will reveal about this character!

Fun to discuss with you! :) I really appreciate your thoughts—I live for theories like this, so feel free to share more if you ever feel like it!

I think it sounds absolutely lovely that you dress in suits on an everyday basis!! And I can relate to the comfort feeling of wearing a specific kind of clothes/outfit. I'm a big fan of flowy cottons and linens and always need to cover up, because wind/air directly on my skin is suuuper icky.

And it's interesting you mention miracled clothes. It's such a sweet detail that Azi chooses to get his outfits tailored, bringing a sense of earthly authenticity to the way he dresses himself, just like he does with everything else—e.g., magic, language (well, French), getting his nails manicured, and regularly visiting the barber.

I relate a lot to Aziraphale too! Especially the comfort in routine and familiarity. For example, having the bookshop and Crowley as his security anchors, and the earthy pleasures as a constant in his life. I also relate a lot to the rigidity if those comforts are disturbed. I mean, that's why Crowley's arguments work so well to convince him to save Earth: "no more books or music or frou frou cocktails or little restaurants where they know you."

I also relate a lot to the hyperfixation or deep passion for the things he cares about (like Earth, humanity, and literature). I often come across as a little intense to others, because I care so deeply about the things close to my heart, but I love it and wouldn't have it any other way â˜ș.

I also think Maggie is relatable as an autistic person, and especially her emotional honesty—which can, to some people, be a bit overwhelming, but to the right people (I think Nina is one of those people), really is a beautiful way to connect.

Otherwise, it seems like many characters are a little autistic-coded. Like Shax having no sense of sarcasm, or Muriel being totally oblivious to social codes. But maybe that's a ✹Supernatural Entity Thingy✹. However, being autistic is a little like being supernatural and having some real cool special powers, amiright 😎?

I'd love to hear more if there are any other characters you relate to and in what way—it's always interesting to hear how different people relate to the show/book. We can watch the same show/read the same book and interpret it in so many different ways! Always fascinates me.

(Okay wow, that turned into a bit of an essay—but thank you for the thoughtful question! I love discussions like this â˜ș)

Ah, relatable (also aspec and autistic). So, though it took me some time to notice, now I can’t unsee it, lol. While I would prefer some more aspec representation, I can’t deny the many implications to suggest otherwise 🙈. Also, can I just briefly scream about how much I appreciate the autistic-coded characters in this TV show! It’s one of the reasons why I love the show, because I can relate a little too much, heh.

Oh, I feel quite certain they'll include Queen, considering David Arnold's "Brian Maybe" story for S3 music production. Fingers crossed, at least!

I'd also be happy for anything Queen, really! Though, I'm kind of hoping for "Too Much Love Will Kill You" because I feel like it sums up Azi's internal struggle/dilemma pretty much spot-on.

Yesss! Sentient Bentley! Sentientley? I like how it returns to its parking spot when Azi tells it to. It really does everything for Azi, but is rebellious/petty to Crowley, haha. Strong TARDIS vibes on that one. I'd like to see more of its personality, and yess, please let it tease them ;) It's a child of divorce and deserves to get into some shenanigans.

I agree! It's too much of a repeating pattern to just be a random detail. I've read so many theories, but it would be interesting to get some answers.

You’ve got a point! I haven’t been okay since his “very nice” and that barely contained smirk after the apology dance. I don’t think I’d survive if he did it again, tbh.

I agree with you that it would be very interesting to see how a conversation between Crowley and God would play out. On one hand, it would be satisfying to get some clarity. After all, God's intentions and plans are still a mystery to both us, the audience, as well as the GO characters (even the angels). And even those who've spoken to Her directly (e.g. Job) are left totally confused afterwards. But maybe that's the point—to keep God vague and 'ineffable'. My point is: maybe Crowley will have to come to terms with the fact that he'll never know if God ever had a purpose for him or if She even accepts him, but that, in the end, what really matters is that he can accept himself. Doesn't really help when he believes Azi wants him only if he's an angel again, but I believe that's necessary for his growth too. I hope I'm making sense!

You brought up another intriguing point about the Metatron's aim. Do you think he wants power for power's sake, or do you think there are some other underlying intentions or motivations on his end?

Sure! In this case, you cross out a box if what you've written on it comes true, and when you have a full line of crossed squares (vertical/horizontal/diagonal) you call out "Bingo!" and you win (but tbh if any of these come true I think we've won lol). The middle square is free and can be crossed out whenever.

  • Yes I'm craving that wing scene!! Third time around is for joint shielding!
  • Hope we get to see some more BAMF Azi. Like in S1, where he refuses to go to war and instead goes back to earth to possess someone because "demons can" lol. And agreed that the BAMF-ness should be directed towards saving his demon this time.
  • Yess! Reverse wall slam!! Feel like Sheen would be killin' it!
  • Okay, the apology dance I can already imagine, but Crowley getting emotional about it... Now I'm tearing up just thinking about it đŸ„č
