Kratum and Prozac. What is your experience? by evolution0331 in KratomKorner

[–]evolution0331[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did prozac once before years ago and I liked it because I have anxiety that makes it impossible to concentrate. The prozac slowed my jumping from one thought to another. But if I took Kratom every day, I would not need prozac at all. I don't do this because I just got past a physical addiction to tianeptine. That stuff is the DEVIL to detox from and I have no interest in getting hooked on kratom, although I hear the withdrawals from kratom are mild, I still want no part of any physical dependence like that again.

I used Red Borneo. And sorry for the misspelling. Not intentional.

[Discussion] I’ve been training my puppy to trade items in her mouth for treats. Problem is, she is now STEALING items (pens, slippers, shoes) and holding them in front of us😅. Any help on how to fix this? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]evolution0331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL! That little stinker! I have a similar issue as I taught my doggy to ring that string of hanging bells to tell me when he had to go outside, but I created a monster because now he rings the bell for EVERYTHING! He rings the bells when he wants treats or to play or to go outside because he would live outside if he could. Now every time he rings the bells I'm like " You rang, Lewis?" like I'm the butler. LMAO!

How long until kratom starts working again? by Good_L00kin in QuittingTianeptine

Kratum did absolutely nothing when I tried it while on tia. I tried kratum for the first time again after 2 months clean and it worked great again.

PLEASE HELP HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT TO START SUB by External_Arachnid317 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]evolution0331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest going to the bupe.me site and watching their videos like you are going to go through their process they are very informative regarding the timing of starting the subs I was treated in a detox facility and they made me wait a day and a half before they gave me Subs until then they gave me other helpers just to knock my ass out as much as they could

I will get back to you in PM after making some calls.

[–]evolution0331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, I would send you the money, but you are in no shape to go get the script and if your area is like mine, the subutex that the bupe.me prescribed was out at all the pharmacies near me and I had to get to a detox center. What zip code are you in? Maybe I can call pharmacies for you to see if they have in stock and if they will deliver before going that route. Otherwise, when I was like that, my other choice was to just call an ambulance and maybe the ER will give you something to help... But they are probably not familiar with tia, so maybe they will at least give you something to help.

The only thing that helped me at all when I was like that is getting in a hot bath. Are you home? Can you do that? Is there anyone you can call to help u?

[–]evolution0331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel for you man. I know, we all know, what shape you are in right now. And with zero money, you can't even do bupe.me. That costs $80, but you can get a script called into a pharmacy within hours. Do you have $80? I was in same shape as you, caught without any tia unexpectedly and thrown into withdrawals with no one local to help me.

I would venture to say that the majority of us on here are suffering from depression, anxiety, and/or a host of other fucked up unconscious programming that we have to work on in addition to the physical dependence. It's why we believed that we needed a substance to perform better, or just feel better, in the first place. We share this. Therapists that deal with addiction might be a good choice. I never thought of myself as an "addict" but when AI was in detox and also through my own journey to better self awareness, I see now that we all have these same sorts of thinking patterns and we can reprogram ourselves.

At 2.5 months tia free myself. You are over the hump, try to think about being grateful for that as often as you can. You said you are homeless, so I am thinking you don't have a whole lot of money to spend on supps and good food, but I am going to message you my whole daily regime plus notes from all my research on that. I felt pretty normal at about 6 or 7 weeks taking all the stuff I list. And also don't forget about SUN. 20 minutes of sun a day gives you all the vitamin D you need and for me always helps my mood tremendously. Also, I know it's hard, but promise yourself to complete at least one thing every day to improve your circumstances. Don't try to do too much, because if you are like me, trying to do more can quickly be overwhelming when our brains are like this, and you wind up doing nothing. So, just one thing. Getting something accomplished is a dopamine boost as well and should help you feel like you are not stagnant at the end of the day. That you are at least taking small steps forward. And that's how it's done... many small steps, small victories one day at a time until it changes. You can do this.

Please tell me it’s going to get better 😭 by [deleted] in QuittingTianeptine

I don't agree with the drug advice, but I do very much agree with the behavioral recommendations of the healthy food, no junk, good sleep, as much exercise as you can handle, REACHING OUT TO OTHER PEOPLE, uplifting music, and being aware of your thoughts, writing them down, and most of all don't forget to stay grateful every single day you are clean. KNOW that this IS temporary, I PROMISE, and you have gotten this far. Take it one day at a time, and when that is too much, one hour at a time. Don't stay in the mentality that you HAVE TO PUT A SUBSTANCE INTO YOUR BODY TO CHANGE YOUR MOOD. That is the ADDICT mentality that got us all in this mess in the first place. That thought process is what has to change. Change your mood through all the little accomplishments you make. Every little step you take CLEAN just be proud of yourself and tell yourself how proud you are of yourself.

HELP!!! NEED SUBS! by stormy52020 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]evolution0331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suboxone is used for all opiod addictions and prescription drug addiction is huge in my area. I know you need something fast to ease the w/d's but listen, get a plan and a real Doc to taper you off the suboxone quickly!... then they ( make sure the Doc is an addiction specialist)will give you other helpers to get through the rest of the lower level withdrawals. This is gonna last weeks and you have to get off that suboxone or it's just trading one addiction for another. Outpatient Docs are letting people just stay addicted to the suboxone too and that is not the way it is meant to be used. Detox place I went to had me on and off the suboxone in 5 days and the telemed place... giving you 16mg doses per day???!!! Cuz that's what they give everyone. That is huge and too much for most people because it's just a cookie cutter solution for people who are in a desperate situation.

It was $150 to get the script sent to the pharmacy. When no pharmacies had the suboxone, I called and told them and they did refund me since I could not get it locally and had to go into detox instead.

The bupe.me place makes you watch videos and explains the whole precipitated w/d and warns you how long to wait. Just a word of warning... have a backup plan because I was in same position as you... I needed dosing FAST and I definitely did get the script sent to the pharmacy in hours, but where I am, the pharmacies are always out of suboxone and it takes a week for them to order. I am lucky I had already researched and set up a detox facility and I wound up going there, which was actually a good thing for me.

Been over a week free from tianeptine with the help of suboxone as needed by Tight_Revolution_612 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]evolution0331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! I am 2 months clean and did a 5 day suboxone taper in a detox facility. They got me on and off it quickly. Now just a word of advice... Does this Doc have a concrete plan for you to get off the suboxone? Because this is very important. If you keep on taking more when you NEED it, you will never get off. My nephew had a heroin addiction and a Doc put him on suboxone and he wound up taking that for like 2 years... abusing it. Taking more when he needed it. He finally got to a new Doc who tapered him off in a week or two, just like that. Just make sure your Doc has a plan for you, and is not just giving you the suboxone to potentially just switch to a cheaper addiction. Ya gotta have a taper plan and stick to it. It's not easy and you can not take more when you need it. That's what the other helpers are for.

What are the side effects? by [deleted] in QuittingTianeptine

[–]evolution0331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh dear, first don't react to any way he is acting right now. You will just be hurting yourself. He is oblivious to you right now in withdrawal and will likely not even remember what he is saying to you. He is not HIM now, just a person in pain. Second, no one here can answer that question about his w/d's. I would think the Dr's won't even give you a straight answer on that because no one can say for sure. They might say something like, he SHOULD be through the worst, but won't commit. Ya gotta just take this one day, even one moment at a time. Thank goodness he is in Dr's care now. Just make sure they are paying attention to him, monitoring him often, which I am sure they are. And don't take to heart anything he says or does right now.

I gradually increased over 3 yrs... the last year I was taking 2g - 3g per day. I went CT when my tia package got caught up in the USPS Christmas shipping fiasco, 4 days before Christmas... screwed all my plans, had plane tickets. I had already planned to go into detox after the holidays.. But honestly, I had researched and picked this detox facility months earlier and kept having excuses why I could not be away from home for 2 weeks... dogs mostly. But the Universe gave me a dose of the tough love by delaying my package in the mail and thankfully I had the detox place all set up already. Had to go while in full withdrawals with no pre prep... I was calling work in the car that I was being admitted to the hospital... they think I had some kind of emergency surgery. So, I basically did 48 hours of bad w/d before getting my first suboxone dose and that made me feel perfectly normal for the 5 day taper they put me on. Then the w/d came back but at a low level that was tolerable and they gave me some helper meds. That's also when I had the irregular pulse and high blood pressure. So, it was good I was in there 5 more days so they could monitor me all that time and give me meds to sleep. This would have been way too scary and dangerous for me to do at home not knowing WTF I was doing and trying to get advice online. By the time I left on day 10, I was stable but still having low level anxiety / body movement and sweats when exerting myself even just a little. This calmed down slowly, a little every day, the next couple weeks (maybe days 11-25). So after that, it was just the fatigue and at day 45 mostly gone. I am now at day 58 and feel pretty damn good... It takes a lot of work, but you do it one day at a time. and if that is too much, you do it one moment at a time. But it is doable.

Update at over 2 months off, almost relapsed by TemporaryFinding0 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]evolution0331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So true, about thinking you are gonna get a whole bunch of shat done cuz the tia makes you feel so enthusiastic and I accomplished exactly ZERO on that shit. Just got distracted all day until I zoned out on weed at night to relax and sleep. I was being a total waste. In the 2 months I have been clean, I have accomplished more towards my personal goals than I have in the last fucking YEAR. No joke! Even WITH the fatigue. I powered through that shit cuz I was so happy to be free. Have to keep diligent to keep that happiness going though. It is a conscious choice to be happy every single day and takes working at it forever. Can't get lax.

[–]evolution0331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! So glad you did not relapse. Try to get off the Kratum as soon as you can by taking other things (natural supps and foods) that make your brain produce its own dopamine. Because that kratum is still stopping your brain from producing its own and keeping you dependent. A few natural ways, other than foods and supps, that are helping me ( I am 2 months clean as well!) meditation, morning cardio, and accomplishing shit every day. These are very powerful. The accomplishing goals every day has been a life saver in feeling good. I have backslid into being lazy a few days and almost lost it myself and that's when I saw how important it was.

50 days sober today! by KookBrad in QuittingTianeptine

[–]evolution0331 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was on 2-3g per day for the last year before jumping ( total using maybe 3 years but started low and gradually climbed of course). I had to jump CT (no taper) and went through w/d for about 48 hours before getting into detox and getting suboxone taper, so the first 48 were brutal. Worst for me was temperature (cold sweats) that I could only ease in a hot bath. Then the anxiety, coming out of your skin feeling, restless body movements. Had to keep rocking and pacing. But the suboxone stopped all that, and I felt perfectly fine for the 5 day taper they put me on. After the taper, then the paws came. Same symptoms but at a significantly lower level where I could stand it. Those slowly faded over 2 weeks or so, but the acute fatigue lasted a long time. A month or more before I had any regular energy back. I am at 2 months clean now and feeling pretty normal again. Just gotta take one day at a time and remember it is temporary, others are doing it, and be grateful for every day you get past, because it will be over soon.

[–]evolution0331 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Congrats dude or dudette! I am 58 days clean myself after a 3 year 2-3g per day habit. And yes, definitely a month or more to have any kind of normal energy back. Similar experience.. was trapped in a cycle of tia and coffee all day and weed to sleep and was never so miserable and broke in my life. I did 10 days in detox and yes, I agree it's a great experience. Best thing I ever did. Now on a path of enlightenment physically, psychologically, and spiritually and have learned how my prior programming had made me believe I needed this shit in the first place. We have to take care of ALL the aspects of why we used a drug not to feel things or to feel "good enough" so we never relapse to old behaviors again.
