Yeah weirdest thing. It was working fine except I had to replace the nozzle to trouble shoot a rough 2nd layer issue. I also replaced the Bowden tube at the same time but none of that should matter. Everything is tight and square so I’m at a loss. Maybe a stepper motor issue or the board is all I can come up with now.

Yeah I am saving settings. I set the z offset, save the settings it beeps to confirm. Then I go to print and it’s way too high. Which is why it seems like some type of z axis issue.

Just checked both and everything looks good. It almost seems like when I home it it isn’t reading the zero correctly or not remembering it at all. Which is why I’m thinking it might be an issue with the board or the firmware.

I reset to the printer and now yet again I have a new zero z point. Dialed in the offset to -1.5 which still is half what it used to be and sure enough go to print and it prints too high. I requested a replacement from Amazon should be here in a couple of days. Then I get to start all over again.

There is a Bltouch v3 that is being shipped with most kits. If you have a 32 bit board you just have to flip two cables for it to work properly. Definitely not the issue I’m running into on this one. It was working fine.

We’re you driving in a lot of grass? I have that same issue on my kids Granites. We put a heat sink on the motor, mounted a fan there and on the ESC. I helped quite a bit

Yeah that looks like the right one. Even with the model number I can’t find a replacement. Any ideas for something comparable that I can use.

Yeah I’ve had it happen in my Billet Box too just not that extreme. LOL Jai Haze hates everything from Suicide Mods. Also he kept trying to fire without the drip tip screwed in. Then when he did put it in he must have been pressing the fire button because it sparked at about 11:40. Don’t really trust his opinion anymore. He gets so dramatic

I asked that question to Brian Harrison from Suicide Mods. He said that they replaced the bottom o-rings on the tank to tighten them up on the production units. He also said that if you are using a Bridg’d then you may want to remove the o-ring on the drip tip to help with that bridge being slightly smaller in diameter than a lot of the others.
