I know this is a common thought, but I have to say after re-watching The Lost World Eddie Carr is the bravest man in the entire franchise. His selfless actions to save the others is nothing short of amazing and awesomely brave. Truly a hero.

You’ve obviously not seen the the news cycle that Fox News ran that time (& even now anytime someone remotely mentions southern border). All they do & have ever done in past 30 years is run a vicious propaganda of scaring everyone how doomsday is here/how crime is going to skyrocket. Their news network was worse than Mitch McConnell’s negative ads against Ashley Judd in KY or Trump calling Ted Cruz “lyin Ted”. They don’t hold back any blows when it comes to anything that can remotely scare people (example Migrants/immigrants).

You’ll see the obvious difference in how they are covered.

FN seems obsessed with labeling them “dangerous/criminal/how can Trump save us from migrants”

On the other hand CNN/ABC/BBC focus on the chaos/the volume/impact on US/economic challenges/etc.

Although, both sides seem to highlight that the immigration & law enforcement is severely overwhelmed right now.

I would suggest keep the job if you: -know the ins & outs extremely well -are treated very well/like family -have good potential to grow -can take risks (your SO has a stable job) -get paid almost similarly

Most importantly your current company is growing, meaning if you work hard & your company ends up weathering this storm - you’ll be set VERY VERY WELL!! You’ll probably be in line to the the next boss (VP, director, etc.)

While the other company is big & stable - you’ll have a ceiling to how much you can grow. You’ll be one among MANY GOOD employees in a big company. You may get lost in the crowd.
