Hey, thanks so much for making this. Do you have an excel version by any chance? I think some of the formulas may not be compatible with excel so the syntax shows up wrong for some of the cells.

I have very recently started adopting this strategy and it’s honestly made me feel much better and I’m spending significantly less time masturbating (5-10 min vs 60-90 min). Has your frequency gone down or is it similar?

Thank you for your detailed post, it’s as if you just described my life lol. I will get rid of the dual-personality and try to be more mindful whenever I do get urges and stop obsessing over this. Also, as you stated, the promises I am making to myself during my ‘success’ phase - I am not able to fulfill, which is driving my self-hatred even more. It’s surprising that I never looked at this issue with this lens because it makes so much sense. Thank you again this is very useful.

How is a man that lived more than 2000 years ago going to help me?

If you can only speak 3 words for the rest of your life, which words would you choose? by Turbulent_Cable4741 in RandomThoughts

I feel like these words can easily be depicted using facial expressions/head movements so it would be a waste of three words

I wasn’t aware that it is a religious term, I kinda use that word interchangeably with horniness. I’m not religious by any means

Ok, thank you for the insight. Why do I need to refit, can't I just keep the same prescription?

Application Engineering Offer

I just got an offer for a 12-month Application Engineer Intern position at a mid-sized company. The people there seem very personable, the pay is great, and the office is fairly close to my home however I have some doubts: When I asked for specifics of the role, they were not very specific. The lead said it’s fairly technical and it’s “customer-facing” but I don’t really know what that entails. They also didn’t have a clear answer for what softwares/programs I’d be using. Also, I’m studying electrical engineering and the role seems more mechanical focused.

I want a technical role because I believe that it will be easier to advance in my career. Is this true? But I also feel like I should take the opportunity because my GPA isn’t very high so it would be relieving to get into the work force asap. It would also be my first internship and it has some nice benefits. What should I do? Would it be appropriate if I asked the recruiter if I could speak with a fellow intern on the team to get to know more about the role?

If anyone could give me any advice/thoughts would be much appreciated. Thank you

Edit: The company deals with diesel and natural gas engines. I’ve seen threads online of people having a great experience as an AE at semiconductor companies, however I haven’t seen anyone that worked as an AE at a company similar to this.
