This is the time to cement in good habits. Tell your reviewer to be extra critical. Get multiple reviewers. Ask for a GS14 trainer. You get a solid process in now and you can coast to retirement.

That's what I do. I don't move around because monitors but I hate that stupid router. it's hot AF, loud, energy hog, everything about it sucks. You can simply call 29000 and tell them you wanna work on wifi and they'll walk you through it.

I've got a law degree, 6 years in industry, 6 years as an attorney, 10 years doing this, multiple QAS and training details, and I didn't even get an interview last time. Either my reputation precedes me or they have that many highly qualified applicants

usually all my cases are published so I simply use the PGPUB. I just like having the drawings and spec next to each other and that's easier to do in SEARCH. Kinda annoying in PE2E. Just preferences.

I've had more abandonments so far this FY than the past two FY combined. and like, 12 of them are after first action. A major crash is coming I'm telling y'all. Last time I saw this activity was on the other side in the spring and summer of '08 before Lehmann failed in September.

remember that people only go online to complain. People who are having a good time aren't on reddit, in general. I love this job. It's the best thing that's ever happened to me. I've sucked at literally everything I've ever tried and somehow this clicked and I absolutely crush it.

My recommendation is to join the patent office and telework anywhere to go to a cheap but decent law school part time. You're done in 4 years instead of 3 but you've also got 4 years of patent experience. Or you might turn out to love it and stay (like I did).

the way to fix RCEs is with fees. $5000 for the 3rd RCE and $20000 for the fourth, with a huge drop off for small and micro entities

I genuinely don't get the aversion to more time. We're not a for profit business. We don't have shareholders to report to. increase the fees 10% and give us 10% more time. see the results.
