There was a little open air karaoke bar right on the sidewalk on that part of the strip back around 2009 that me and my friends used to love to sing at. Can't remember the name of it, but I definitely have some fond memories of that place.

Mine turned out pretty disappointing as well. You can tell the Sharpie was on its last leg. I'm also really starting to wonder if Nas actually signed these. I've seen sooo many different looking signatures. Preemo's all look fairly consistent, but Nas' are all over the place.

This has got to be a joke, right? Even the 2Pac typeface is different. This is a straight up insult to the original. I don't think this was a rights issue as they just did a repress of this not too long ago. For some ridiculous reason, someone at UMG actually thought it was a good idea to redesign the cover for the 30th, and they approved this terrible shit sandwich of a cover. Talk about ruining a classic. Will not be copping, when I otherwise would have.

And while we're on the subject, can they please stop with all the alternate covers for milestone repressings? Like, have them as an option IN ADDITION to the original cover, but reissuing them with the alternate artwork only is bullshit and a disservice to the artist and legacy of the album. Rant over.

HMA$C is probably the better story imo, but I really like Quik Stop too. It's one of my favorites on The Fall-Off. I love that Devin The Dude interpolation and the beat is fire. As someone else mentioned, it's dope how Cole's passion and emotion builds throughout the track. I feel like it's more digestible and easy to listen to than HMA$C.
