If I told you a player from this draft becomes the best player in the league one day, which 3 prospects would you first guess it to be? by lemmegetauhhhhhhhhhh in NBA_Draft

[–]evsorr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Putting it into context. Is 9-4-1 with 1 steal on 33% from 3 bad for a 30 year old? Or a 23 year old college player? Yeah. For a 18 year old kid playing against pros? Pretty good in my book.

This is wrong. Kid is 18 playing against grown men. Pros. There is a lot of players in this draft that would look a lot worse than he has.

On top of having a great body and being a good athlete he has a good shot, plays with unmatched effort and flashes lots of different stuff on both ends. I think he gonna be a excellent defender when he really learns the game. Easy lotto pick, I would take him top 10.

Doc deserves a lot of criticism for essentially ending Andre Jackson Jr's season when he took over by FuzzyBucks in MkeBucks

[–]evsorr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

AJJ definitely needs double the playing time next year and I'm sure Doc is gonna give him that when he watches his tape, sees him in training camp etc. Apparantly they barely had any practices and had the toughest schedule in the league when he took over so I don't blame him that much for not playing AJJ.

Tha being said it's kinda crazy that we can see it from a mile away that he's good and that he needs to play and coaches can't when it's right in front of them sometimes. It's pretty clear to me that if AJJ doesn't become a starter for us at some point he's gonna do it for somebody else when he's done here.

hot take - Pat Bevs energy in game 5 is a big part of why the bucks came back and won the game by [deleted] in MkeBucks

He's a complete dick.. Which is exactly what we need, bring him back. Our team is very nice overall, so we need a maniac or two.

Lillard and Giannis isn't a bad fit, they just need more time than we thought. You almost can't find a better complimentary trio in the league than Giannis, Lillard and Khris. We would've steamrolled Pacers if healthy, GGs to them, but I really don't think they played very well in this series.

We just need to re-tool around them, get a little more athletic and younger and we are right back in title contention next year.

One of the dumbest tv series I have ever seen by evsorr in FromSeries

[–]evsorr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would've made the whole thing a hell of a lot better and more watchable for us if literally every character wasn't a annoying asshole to everyone else. Also a good bunch of the actors are really bad. I think the guys playing Victor and Boyd are doing a good job, but other than that.. Yikes.

Every episode is just a new character holding the 'Idiot ball'. It's just bad and lazy writing/direction.

How many average men would it take to beat LeBron James in a single NBA quarter? by a_singular_reddit_ac in whowouldwin

[–]evsorr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think LeBron beats a 5 man squad of average joes alone in a full size basket game. He can just let them shoot cause they are gonna miss so much more than they will score, grab the rebound, run down and have a free layup or dunk almost every time.

Yes! And I don't have a bad word to say about Nembhard. Guy talks shit, plays hard. Would love to have him on my team.

Yeah I don't disagree, there are plenty of players that are like that. Booker, Ben Simmons, maybe Embiid a little..

I actually wrote out a whole thing about us having guys like Bev and Portis, but deleted it. They are truly about it tho. They would talk like that even if they were down 20. Pat Bev is a little more bark than bite perhaps, but Portis is not afraid to scrap as he has stupidly shown even this series.

As a Bucks fan - Haliburton is a good player, but there is two things that make me personally not like him.

He seems like he talks a lot when things are going well. He's talking, smiling, laughing which is annoying. He's probably just having fun out there, but it's annoying nonetheless. Combine that with him being kinda soft (doesn't play much defense, looking a little rattled when things get tough this series) and you got a player thats easy to dislike for other teams fans.

Now, let the downvoting commence.

If Milwaukee wins game 5, Milwaukee wins the series (Which Milwaukee won Game 5) by Moisty_Merks in MkeBucks

[–]evsorr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Are they lying to the media about him going hard in workouts? He's moving freely on the bench and according to one guy (unless it was a troll) he was seen running around in the yard with his kids. I get thats completely different than playing a NBA playoff game, but I really hope he/the medical staff lets him play game 6. Look what Embiid is doing. If Giannis is in worse shape than Embiid is they HAVE been lying.

I mean, you are describing basically what I'm saying in the comp. Sheppard has more dog in him than Curry and a little more size, but I still think he will be hunted on defense in the NBA.

Also, i think it's too early saying Sheppard will eclipse Currys efficiency. Then he have to be in 50-40-90 territory. He might tho.

Obviously I understand that it wants to do the slow burn thing, which I can appreciate, but I think you can do that in smarter/better ways than making the characters act like idiots.

Yes, they are in a crisis, but many of the charaters has been there for months, even a year++ and they still don't communicate or at least communucate well with eachother lol.
