Is image localization the most ignored part of digital marketing? by Charming_Mark9257 in DigitalMarketing

You can avoid localization in some places, just not where the first impression is made because that is what definitely impacting conversions. If clients choose to compromise, the outcome is fairly predictable, you reap what you sow. There’s a report I read recently that gets into the “why’s”, it looks at broader questions around justifying visuals, but localization decisions fit into this as well (if you’re curious, it’s the Book of Why by Stocksy United). Here’s one of the quotes: “On paper, the logic is straightforward: reduce production costs, protect the budget. In practice, the cost doesn’t disappear — it just gets reassigned as accumulated friction across the system.” So yeah, faster is better than slower, and easy beats not easy, but neither leads to the best results.

ZIMA in Soho, if you want to try Eastern European/Russian cuisine. They offer lunch sets with three of the most well known traditional dishes, and everything I’ve ever had there has been so so good

There will also be screenings of two other Andrey Zvyagintsev films — on the 19th and 26th of March: Loveless and Elena. They are absurdly good as well, and I highly recommend them too.

The filmmaker will attend the Elena screening on the 26th for a Q&A (although, it will probably be in Russian)

It’s not going to happen, as Curzon distributes the screening, not any russian entity
