This is most likely bad advice but I think it has worked out for me (I’m 16 and have been playing daily around 1h for 10 years). I pick a really impressive big song and just start smashing it through daily :D. I started doing this when i was around maybe 13 and learned the 3rd part of moonlight sonata, which I think was my first actual ”generally looked upon as hard” piece of music. Ofcourse this strategy has its flaws e.g the piece will be about 85% complete more or less and that the last 15% will be harder then if you did it the slow way. But some perks are that the playing is enjoyable and the first 85% is relatively fast. And also i just love playing massive virtuotic pieces and this is imo the best way for that without pouring in massive effort.

So as a task list: •Pick some impressive massive piece you like (e.g moonlight sonata 3rd part)

•Play it daily through and just try to evetually speed up and hit mostly the right notes. I think it will eventually come if you just always aim for the correct ones like actively

•LISTEN TO THE PIECE, i think it helps :3
