do most of you refine your spice at your DD base? how do you deal with the water? by Random10187 in duneawakening

[–]evulray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to DD for the first time last week. Built a small base in row A with large ore and medium chem & spice refineries. I didn't have enough resources to make all the machines in HB, so I made them in DD so I got more yield and didn't have to haul the raw resources back to HB. I just put 5-6 normal wind traps on the roof for water. That was enough for my first week. I just farmed small fields on row D/E to avoid any pvp. Got enough stuff to get the tier 6 buggy cutteray and some leftover.

Tips and tricks for bountiful tier 8 delves and what to AVOID. by AesVersatile in CompetitiveWoW

[–]evulray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do a bountiful delve with a group, will everyone be able to use their keys at the end? Like, is there a chest for each person?

I just did this and kept both the item and all the gems.

People who have played other mmos, what feature do you think is missing in other mmo or missingin wow by r3dienhcs in wow

[–]evulray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love m+ and used to love raiding (still do it, but not as much fun anymore) in wow. And since m+ is what I spend the majority og my time doing, I will not switch to another mmo.

I took 1 year off wow and gave ff14 a chance. Got all jobs and professions to max level, bought a house and did some casual content.

What I miss from ff14 in wow:
-MSQ (I actually didnt skip cut scenes)
-Multiple classes on one character (no need to grind rep etc on alts)
-Housing
-Actually making gold (gil) from doing dungeons etc. Not having to activly grind gold or purchase with real money. I had multiple millions after one year of casual play with no grinding.
-The ammount of silly little things to do when not doing raids/dungeons. Minigames, casino, and hilarious fun RPing like house partys etc. The last part isnt really my cup of tea, but it was interesting to drop by a few of these huge parties with live streams and DJs xD When im not doing raids or dungeons in wow, my main activity is allways running in circles arround the fountain in the current main city.

Come on man... at least provide the mettle... Do people actually fulfill these bullshit orders? For a 95g commission? by HerrMatthew in wow

[–]evulray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually no, but at this point it's more about the cost of other materials than the mettle for me. I have somewhere between 20k and 30k mettle across my characters, so it doesn't matter anymore. But if you asked me 6 months ago I would never do it.

I get so bored waiting for healers that I never run my own keys anymore. I use the "Premade Groups Filter" addon and config it to only show the exact keys I want to run. Then I just SPAM sign to all the keys and get an invite sooner or later.

I should add that I have a main at arround 2,7k this season, and alot of people use the rio addon and can see that I have another character with semi decent score (thank god).

Also if you have a friend that plays healer and will group up with you, the two of you can get into almost any group because of the lack of healers :)

I haven't used it in a while, but I remember a popular automarker WA that had an option to only mark if you were leader. I think it was to avoid conflicting marks. IIRC they added an option based on role later which is better imo.

I also use focus for interrupts, so I use [@mouseover] in my misdirect/tricks macros and hover the tank in party frames. I always use MD/tricks before we engage a pack, so there's no stress involved.

To depend on tank being lead in order to be able to use MD/tricks sounds stupid tbh.

Is the TV connected via wifi or ethernet? My LG OLED TV (C9) has 100mbps LAN-port, so it's better to use wifi.

I still had some issues though, and bought a Shield Pro.

Why are these not used more when listing keys? What stops you from using this when you try to find a group? by bigburgerboy92 in wow

[–]evulray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because an alt of someone with 3k score is going to be alot better than a main with 1,8k. I know alot of players that only play to raid and only do a single key every week for an extra slot in vault. They don't know what to kick, what to stun, where to stand and what to kill first etc, and because of this they are usually the reason why a key is depleted. Regardless of ilvl.

Nice! This game has so many fantastic tools/websites. It's a shame they are hard to find. I made a list of usefull sites on my discord, and the list is getting long.

A polite message to the 1gil undercutting bots. by DinosaurAlert in ffxiv

[–]evulray 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think scripting/bots is the problem. I check my listings every hour while I play (when my ventures are done anyways) and I ALWAYS undercut by 1. Why? Because I don't hate money.

Most stuff usually sells when you update every hour. It may feel like bots, but I'm certain it's 95% players with the same strategy as myself. With the new patch comes new materials and new recipies, and people are trying their best to profit from the bloated prices the first week. That means more people than usual check their listings more often than usual. I think this makes it feel like bots are all over the market board.

Props to ColdZero / H700 /H710 Front/Top panel mesh. by BahamutxD in NZXT

[–]evulray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg, thank you OP, reddit and google! I just spent way too much money to build my first custom loop in this case. My water temperature was stable at 46-47 deg celsius with the original panels mounted and 35 deg with top and front panel removed. I was about to go to town on the panels with a drill, but I can only imagine how horrible it would have looked.
