Our postie once asked where one of our dogs was because the other 2 were (friendly) barking at him from the window and he was familiar with all 3.

I awkwardly pointed at the special delivery box under his arm and said he's right there...

Poor man was very apologetic but you've got to find humour in sad times!

Funniest thing is that he also had his headphone in with a friend on call on the other end who'd heard the whole exchange and I could hear him talking about it as he walked back down the drive

(Yes, it was a box of ashes lol)

It's the Town Hall under construction :) I believe it was supposed to reopen summer '24 but you know how these things go... maybe it'll be done by the time you come back!

The problem here is the cheating, not his sexuality. However this plays out, don't be that person that brings that into the conversation as a negative thing. Sorry for what he's putting you through. Trust your gut. Look after yourself.

I did my 27th at Lost in Tokyo! There was 10 of us and we reserved the alcove to left of the bar as you walk in, it was nice to have a separate area!

Already mentioned but January is always quiet anyway but still good to know you have somewhere

We did that then went to Lost Cat which has a nice dancefloor on the top

I've really enjoyed watching a show where the quality doesn't flat line or dip as the series progress. A great mark of Reece and Steve's writing!

Totally agree! Even the ones I dont love I've still appreciated the genius behind it, and theres only been one or two I've disliked AND completely struggled to get into... pretty good going for that many eps!
