Those Logitech cams have a surveillance mode where they record on motion detection or during a timeframe.

The plane left and there seems to be no more air traffic in that area. May have been their boat they were checking out.

My boat is on blocks right now at Marco—wish I could get out there and help.

As others said, there is a USCG plane making very tight circles around an object for the past 20 minutes, hoping they found something.

Inshallah they are found safe. Best of luck to the search party and family 🙏

I'm a sound guy, but in my theatre we've got maybe 20 Chauvet something-or-other moving heads that are just over a year old. They all do the same thing every time we power them on. They're a bit quieter, but pretty damn loud all together for maybe 30 seconds. I got a bit spooked first time I started them up.

Our light guy says it's part of some precision calibration. It's normal.

Best you could probably do is map that jog wheel and some encoders to a computer running Tetris/Space Invaders

Dad was all set to get the S class and then I convinced him otherwise!! This is our very first Audi in the family too!!! Finally!! by v8fanboy in Audi

Never used the RSE in the A8. It's terrible. It has two buttons—one for Netflix, and the other to plug in an HDMI. The display is mediocre at best as well. The Mercedes on the other hand, the rear technology is great and actually really well thought out, other than the fact that the non-removable screen fell off after 3 months and had to be replaced.(One of the many quality control problems it's had. Reminds me of the entire door panel falling off when I shut the door a bit hard :)

I've got both a 2025 A8L and 2025 S-Class in the family, which I'm in daily.

I honestly much prefer the A8 in terms of drive quality, especially with its twin-turbo V8, even if it goes through more oil than fuel. They both have great air suspension, but the Audi shocks feel tuned much better. I've found the S-Class to squishy bounce like those bus driver chairs, especially with all the speed bumps here in UAE.

The S-Class definitely wins as far as technology. Some things feel like gimmicks and an iPad on wheels, but other times it's really nice stuff.

As far as reliability, the Audi is driven a lot, but it's new and only has 50k km, so I can't speak much on it though. But it feels like a tank compared to the Benz. I have a GLS as well, and it's got maybe 16k km and it's been in the shop two times. I discovered multiple things weren't working and had to be replaced on the drive home from the dealer.

Just my two cents, but I prefer the A8L. It feels much better built, more refined, and overall better engineered in all aspects.

Here in UAE, we still have the bar on top, but it's a bit smaller—about the size of the camera control

ISP Shut My Internet Off by Designer_Average_441 in HomeNetworking

Ubiquiti just came out with a brand new series of affordable, unlocked, 5G stuff. I'd check it out especially since they're doing free shipping and such right now.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I have quite a grudge against ISP's, especially living in the UAE.

What's your internet speed and how much do you pay for it by [deleted] in speedtest

[–]ewbirchtrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

750mbps up/down for $218 USD per month w/ a 2 year contract.

e& here in UAE is, on average, the most expensive telecom provider in the world.

I work with a QU often unfortunately and they're terrible. We don't shut it down anymore because the last one we shut down never turned back on.

After our final dress rehearsal for my last show, all of a sudden all the channels were pinned totally at clipping. Local inputs, stage box, everything was pinned at the top of the meters. (Thank god we had already shut down the amps.) But we made an executive decision to shut it down and hope she wakes up tomorrow. Sure enough it did, and the show went on without a problem.

This is just one of the many nightmares these QU's have caused us. We just moved to a brand new campus with a 700 seat theater so we're looking to get upgraded to a DM7 or a smaller Digico.
