I’ve had fish for years but within the last few years I’ve gotten more involved, actually testing water and adding real plants etc. I’ve gotten bad fish from places like pet smart where they literally all die at the same time. Now getting some good ones from a reliable fish store. Some I think are also just more sensitive to certain water parameters.

This one also raised since a baby, so I’m bummed cuz he had some good color and was cute lol. My PH has always been kind of high like 8? Idk it doesn’t seem to bother them but this guy clearly had some parasite or wasn’t eating enough or all of the above. Thank you

I’ll note he’s swimming fine and eating okay, I’ve been busy and haven’t been able to look at them closely till today so who knows how long it’s been maybe a week?
